Re**er s-max 850 in and ready for phase 3.
The customer wanted to install the sump and do all the plumbing so he can get a good understanding of how it all works which I think is a great idea. I must admit, that tank was up there with one of the more awkward to lift onto the stand being that the stand is higher than the average stand. Luckily we employed a weight lifting champion (neighbour ) from next door to give us the last help needed to get the tank up those last couple of inches.
Over the next few weeks I will be returning to do an aquascape, and get this one salty and signed off😎

It’s time for a long overdue tank upgrade for one lucky customer. The tank was 12 years old and if you are careful you may spot that the front panel was being held together by some rather nifty clamps due to the tank springing a link MONTHS! Ago. Some how this managed to stop the leak(brave man).
The old tank was disposed of ready for tomorrow’s install of a Redsea Smax 850, that was efficiently supplied via Advanced Aquarium Consultancy.
All live stock safely housed in a temporary tank in the conservatory, which we all debated if it actually needed lights on at all as it was looking great with the small amount of natural light it was receiving.
After the old tank was removed it was a chance to do some 12 year reef archeological survey which proved to be very interesting. 🤣
Time for a bad back tommorrow I recon 🤣

Bit of an unusual one for me this week.
An old friend asked if we could be of assistance to help move his former reef tank the other side of a wall(as the house was built essentially around it) the old fish room needed a bit of attention, so we decided to take on the task of posting the tank through the hole in the wall as there was no other way to do it 🤣
The old reef tank (built by Aquarium Connections) is now being set up as a simple so to speak tropical system and I believe it really will be amazing in a few months time.

A new install on a tight scedule this week😎
The sump is relocated down in the cellar complete with salt mixing station and water production.
The house doesn’t even have electric yet but tommorrow is the deadline so best crack on 🤣
