This angel girl is a Siberian and came to see the vet lady Keshia for her first health check 🤍 🩶 🤍

To say she was a superstar is a complete understatement - she totally nailed her first consult and won everyone over with her cuteness and sassy confidence.

We're pleased to let you know that after rigorous inspection - and when we say rigorous, we mean RIGOROUS - we're once again 100% compliant with the RCVS Practice Standards Scheme and are an Accredited Practice for the next four years (when we'll then have to undertake inspection all over again) 🧡

This is a voluntary scheme that vet practices decide whether or not they wish to follow. Through setting standards and regular assessments, the scheme promotes and maintains the highest standards of veterinary care. It offers peace of mind to clients of accredited practices and allows pet owners to make a more informed choice.

When Chris and Sam set up Vetsmiths, we knew we wanted to achieve this status as this sets out best practice throughout the business. We live and breathe delivering these exceptional standards each and every day and are proud to have achieved this status.

When you're so tiny and mum brings you in in her bag 🥰

TEDDY is eight weeks old and arrived at his new home at the weekend to start living his bestest life with his new family.

He's a Cavapoo and weighs in at just 2.33 kg.

He caused quite a stir when the vet lady Martha gave him a behind the scenes tour of the practice - there was LOTS of cuddles, oooohs and ahhhhs 🧡

He's got little white socks on all four feets . . . what a little darling who we can't wait to get to know.

For information, NOTICE TO CLIENTS COMING FROM JULIANS BRIDGE -TEMPORARY TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT NOTICE, JULIANS ROAD

Comining into operation TODAY, Tuesday 26th May 2026 between 9.30am and 3.30pm and remain in force for five days.

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT NOTICE, JULIANS ROAD, WIMBORNE MINSTER

It will come into operation on 26th May 2026 between 09:30 and 15:30 and remain in force for five days, but it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 26th May 2026.

This Notice will enable Dorset Council to set up temporary traffic control for the shuttle signal trial over Julians Bridge.

The effect of this Notice is as follows:
[i] To impose a temporary road closure on; Julians Road, Wimborne Minster at Julians Bridge as indicated by signs on site.

[ii] To temporarily revoke the existing 7.5t weight restriction Orders on Various Roads, Wimborne Minster as indicated so far as they relate to the sections and lengths of road as indicated by signs on site to maintain access during the road closure.

A locally signed diversion route will be put in place to enable traffic to travel around the closed section.

Hi, I'm BERT . . . a 8.5 year old Spur Thighed tortoise 🐢

Kesh thought I'd got a bit cold with the sudden change in the weather a few weeks ago, but the weather this weekend is looking perfect.

They also told me to tell you, that there's some free appointments today, so if you've got some worries about your pet get them booked in today for a check-over rather than leave over the Bank Holiday.

MONKEY has just got back from a wonderful holiday camping in Spain 😎

It was that time of year for his health check and booster - the vet lady Kesh was very happy with him.

He's such an absolutely delightful young man every time we see him 🤎 🤍

Indulge us today as we CELEBRATE KIPSTER's 17th BIRTHDAY ♥️

We picked her up from the breeder when Barnaby was four (he's 21 now and just finished Uni!).

Her favourite place was always the beach where she would yap for her ball and dig for England sending sand flying all over you 😂

These days it's a quieter life, although she still enjoys her 'work days' where she can oversee things from the office, with the odd amble down the corridor to the kitchen . . . just in case 😉
