☀️REMINDER☀️

🥶 My salon is lovely and cool (actually quite chilly!) with a big bowl of water, but with the current temperatures, please take extra precautions when bringing your dog to appointments.

🐾 Please avoid walking your dog to the salon, especially on hot pavements. The ground can become extremely hot and can burn paws very quickly.

🚗 If possible, have the air conditioning running in the car before travelling. When dogs arrive overheated, I often have to spend time cooling them down before I can even begin grooming.

❗ If a dog arrives showing signs of heat stress or struggling with the heat, I will have to send them home for their own safety.

Heat exhaustion and heat stroke are extremely serious and can become life-threatening very quickly.

If your dog struggles in warm weather, please let me know. I'm always happy to rearrange appointments or adjust time slots where possible.

My priority is keeping your dog safe, comfortable, and happy. Thank you for helping me look after them during this hot weather. ❤️

Buddy and Holly had their groom today before heading off on holiday. ☀️❤️

Their owner did everything right in this heat. They arrived cool, calm and comfortable – she even carried them across the pavement to protect their paws from the hot ground.

After their groom, they left exactly the same way: cool, calm and happy. 🐾❤️

This is exactly how dogs should be travelling to and from appointments in these temperatures. A little extra thought and effort makes a huge difference to their comfort and safety.
