WE GOT A FIRST!!!!

This weekend we attended a flyball competition hosted by Wash Warriors in Abbots Ripton.

On Saturday, our open team with Louie, Ben, Jet and Misty attended and had fun competing in the rain.

On Sunday, our open team with Venus, Hera, Pippa, Dora and Flash competed in division 6 and ended up getting a First! by winning against every team we competed against, even though we had a few very close races; and we are very proud of the team and everyone who came to support our racers!
As well as an open team on Sunday we also had a foundation team Maisie,Moose, Lily, and Colin who came fourth with overall clean run percentage of 79%, we are very proud of all that competed and tried their best.

A big congratulations to Jack for being an amazing box loader for all our teams.

We would also like to say a big thank you to Wash Warriors who put on a great competition despite the rainy conditions and the muddy ground conditions.

Well done everyone for an amazing performance this weekend!

We’ll be back again!

After last years success, Harlington has once again decided to put on a dog show and we have been invited again, to do tryouts where you get a go at flyball for free!

Come along and experience the whole event not just flyball, but a dog show and dog related stalls too.

Ben is a 10 year old collie
He is the oldest member of our open teams but don’t let his age fall you, he still keeps up a good pace when racing.

Artemis, better known as Moose, is the oldest of all the chocolate labs at rocksteady flyball having turned 8 at the start of the year.

Artemis is stubborn and definitely knows her own mind, she loves a ball, and like most Labradors is obsessed with food.

Artemis is also the mother of our four other chocolate labs, and is definitely in charge.
