Tuesday

Rather a damp one but the dogs didn't mind.

9:00 newgate and near three circuits with these spry pups. Mable and Polly explored the woods while Cara the path

11:00 fields and a rather muddy circuit. Daisy was very keen to play.

1:00 Stanlylands. Currently it's the least muddy place to go. We did two circuits of the top field before going along the river and back.

Monday

9:00 a circuit or two of newgate, cub off for some of it while Lottie kept nest and sniffed about.

11:00 we retreated to Stanlylands and played along the river. Waffle found sticks and stones to bark out, while Connie and ivy watched and cheered.

1:00 final walk around the fields, drier than I thought so very pleasant. Cora and bonnie a dream, happy to trot along while my horrible collies herded the tennis ball and yelled at me

Thursday

Just the seven dogs today so two very pleasant walks. First walk up by Stanlylands, everyone enjoying the change of pace and new sniffs. Second was around the peat bog and nature reserve. Lots of passing walkers but perfectly behaved through out.

Tuesday

9:00 last walk down wilmslow park as the cows are back, we went over the bridge to the other side. All very well behaved. There is a lot more traffic this side so they were recalled more than most walks but all did fab

11:00 around a very muddy fields, all had a little wash after but it is the season. Murphy in particular enjoyed several rolls so enjoyed a hose treatment much to his disgust. Unsurprisingly not a soul in sight.

Just seven hounds today but over three walks, first two at newgate, the rain meaning no photos on the early one. Cora very well behaved, cub running riot for half the walk before joining me on the lead. Then these four, Polly joining in the Simba hunting much to his joy. Daisy mature at my side. Only bonnie on the 1:00 so grabbed my lot to keep her company and went round the fields together.

Meanwhile, have a lovely weekend, I'll be painting and yelling at my dog through an agility course.

Wednesday

9:00 a lovely walk around newgate, Connie and ivy enjoying the social walk, ivy actually introducing herself to several humans for a pet. Cub stayed with me today but seemed happy, Lottie trotted on behind

11:00 wilmslow park, and we met Steph and her pack. Oscar rather fancied her big lab Dexter, made all manner of come ons totally unsettling the poor boy. I kept him on most just incase he took his attentions too far but a good boy through out. Bonnie seemed to enjoy the chance of place, miss olive today was less enthusiastic but she was dead chipper yesterday. Daisy self sufficient on the whole.

9:00 down Wilmslow park, Merlin and Mable playing uncertainly here and there, while Polly ran about them in circles and cara watched them for any safety hazards.

11:00 Stanlylands, and a lovely circuit along the river and up around the fields. Miss olive very much enjoyed herself in the new jaunt while daisy and co bounced about the place

1:00 final walk back at wilmslow park. Mostly very peaceful until an entire collie galloped over. I told him to shove off though and let the girls greet him while keeping Oscar behind me. I walked towards the owner and the collie obligingly have me some space before been handed over. Next I guarded my hounds from two rather enthusiastic toddlers/kids. That time I used Cora and Connie as decoy, allowing them get cuddles from her while the others stayed with on lead.

Very few photos I'm afraid as rather damp through out. No drama in any at all though. First two at newgate in my very selfige attempt to avoid the wet grass and protect my dry socks. Last walks in the fields, just bonnie and my lot . Bonnie was fab, my lot less so 😁

Thursday

9:00 fields are cut and lay by finally vacant, that makes one happy dog walker. We marched around at a really decent pace. With poor pip gone there's no need to go slowly so I really stretched their legs.

11:00 wilmslow park so dogs all paddled their way along the river. Pearl a quiet companion, labs intense on getting as wet as possible and miss olive joining in with a play here and there. Think she might like the labs.

1:00 final walk Stanlylands, through the woods to the garden centre and back a few times. Connie and ivy happy to sniff, Connie drying to eat dirt here and there while Oscar galloped on ahead.
