Bless Gadget. He looked for Coconut when I got back from the vets without her.
Then when I brought her back and put her by herself in my bedroom, he's running around sniffing because he knows she's here.
They deffo love each other more than they love me

Coconut is at the vets for her Lap spay. I'm emotional again. She was looking over her shoulder to me as I left ๐Ÿฅน

We've learned to put bedding in the tumbler dryer first before washing to remove hair. Game changer ๐Ÿ˜

So... On Saturday I noticed that Gadgets lip had dropped. Then a slight lump on his neck. They were all playing nicely on the garden. There's bees in my garden at the moment. I thought he'd been stung. Eating and drinking fine. Breathing ok. Sunday night the lump got much bigger. I spent the night with him and called the vets first thing. Managed to get him in by midday. There wasn't a rush because of his eating and breathing ok.
They thought it was a sting because he was active. But when they took his temperature it was over 40ยฐ. Almost definitely an abscess. They keep him at the vets. They couldn't operate straight away because he'd had breakfast.
I found the evidence later. He'd chewed a piece of trellis off of the fence panels. It punctured the inside of his mouth and got infected.
They can't see any wood still in there, fingers crossed. They put a drain in his face that leaked for a few hours but stopped. He's on the mend. He had a check up yesterday and the drain is coming out Monday all being well. He's doing good ๐Ÿ‘
