Covid-19 (2020) and Dog Grooming

Unfortunately, dog groomers are currently classed as non-essential. Therefore, ALL dog groomers within the UK will now be closed until it is safe for them to re-open. - If you hear of anyone still open and grooming, they shouldn't be! They will not be insured and are, as it stands, breaking the law.

I know this is an extremely trying time for the owners of dogs who are due their regular grooms. The weather is warming up, any they're all so hairy by now.

I would like to ask that you don't attempt to cut or clip your dogs at home. There is a reason why you pay a trained professional, it's a skill us dog groomers have often spent years perfecting, so please step away from the moving animal with your scissors or sharp blades. Just hang in there a few more weeks.

There unfortunately have been a number of injuries caused by owners attempting to cut or clip their own dogs, this includes cutting of tongues, excessively bleeding nails, rash's, graze's, deep cuts resulting in bills up to £200. So please, think before you act.
