This team are having lots of wins and its all through their hard work and dedication to the training plan. Hes gone from having a few issues to nearly none in a matter of weeks, so much so that they are able to do things they never would have been able.

So proud of this team!

Another 1st session today with Milo the Labrador, a quick change of tools and putting some rules in place made massive changes from the beginning of the session to the end, a lot of work to do but this is a very promising start.

Yesterday I had our first session with Hugo a strong Cane Corso x Labrador that was pulling very hard. We changed a few things and gave a few pointers on what to do, and how to get him more engaged and this was the result at the end. I look forward to training with them again soon!

My clients dog Buster and mine and my partners dog Quinton working around lots of distractions today which they both find very difficult, there was an event in our local park so we took full advantage of this.

Making sure the dogs were engaged and working on everything we could during our time there.

Considering these 2 dogs find this environment difficult, they both smashed it.

Quinton likes to be social but also finds noisy and hectic environments quite scary, Buster is very similar so i was very happy with both dogs today!

Dog training that gets results!

We are seeing lots of misinformation online from other "professionals" telling people to clap if your dog is being attacked to deter the dog. This is not the way to help your dog if it is unfortunate enough to be attacked by another dog.

The only way you will save your dog in the event of a dog attack is to choke the attacking dog off. Always carry a spare lead with you, and do not be afraid to do what has to be done to save your dog!

I am also seeing misinformation on tools (e.g prong collar and e collar) some people are spreading that the e collar was banned in February this year, this is not the truth! The ban was thrown out due to the overwhelming evidence that dogs are not hurt or shut down by an e collar!

Please consult a dog trainer if you want clear advice on how to keep your dog safe. We are not saying you have to come to us, but please seek a good trainer that can explain and show you how things work.

That being said, if anybody wants to learn how to prevent or stop a dog attack, you are more than welcome to book in with us! If you have any other dog training related queries feel free to ask or book in.

First aid providers should not be giving advice on training, tools or splitting up a dog fight, especially with poor misinformation that will potentially put your dog in more danger.

Please stay in your own lane people, if you are a first aid provider then stick to giving first aid advice!
