Just a couple of photos this week .

We've been hard at work getting everything ready for the year ahead - opening up our 2026 bookings, ordering exciting new products, and preparing for our upcoming maintenance and refresh during our closure periods .

We've had a very productive period preparing for the year ahead.
From 1/10 we’ve literally not stopped putting in the bookings ,
I think it was 11 pm and we called it a day 😅

Ordering new products and supplies for our guests' comfort.
Completing general
maintenance and improvements during our scheduled closure means
our facilities remain safe, comfortable, and welcoming for all our boarding guests.
We'd like to thank all our valued clients for your support this year and next .

We have some important updates to share as we approach the end of our working year .
All these will appear on our website and page too.

✅New Opening Times.
Monday to Friday 9am -6 pm ( no change)
Saturday 9am-4 pm
Sunday Closed ( no change)
Drop off 9 am - 12 pm ( no change)
Collection 9 am - (4pm) 6 pm (no change)

✅Updated Terms & Conditions.
Please take a moment to read through our updated terms and conditions, these are with immediate effect.These changes are designed to improve our service and ensure everything runs smoothly .

✅New Prices
From 01/ 01/ 2026 our prices will be adjusted to reflect rising costs and to continue providing you with the best possible service.

We always want to be honest with you, so we'd like to explain why our prices are going up this coming year.
Like many small businesses, we've seen rising costs in things like supplies, utilities, and running expenses. To keep giving you the quality and service you deserve, we need to adjust our prices slightly.
We've worked hard to keep the increase as small as possible, and we promise it's all so we can continue doing what we love - serving you with the same care & quality.

✅Bedding & Comfort - fresh bedding, blankets, and cleaning supplies to keep everything cosy and hygienic.
✅Cleaning & Sanitising - specialist products to ensure the kennels & Cattery are spotless and safe.( we rotate the highest quality products to prevent resistance)
✅Staffing & Training - We regularly update our training, making sure our team are highly qualified and able to give every animal the love and care they deserve.
✅Utilities - heating, lighting,
and hot & cold water .These are an essential element in keeping the kennels & Cattery clean , warm and welcoming in all seasons.
✅ Vet Care & Insurance - We have strict health and safety procedures and insurance standards keeping pets safe and covered at all times.
✅ Food & Treats - quality pet food individually catered for and special diets to maintain stability.

We're so grateful for your understanding, and for trusting us with your furry family members : Your support helps us keep doing what we love most - providing a home away from home for your pets.

With that out of the way 😅 the diary is now open , please be aware of new timings when booking.
For the first few weeks we will give priority to our existing customers.After that we welcome all enquiries. As usual we will be taking a break soon but all bookings and message’s will be responded to .

The summer holidays may be winding down, but there's still plenty of fun and cosy vibes here at Dukes Barn Farm Boarding Kennels and Cattery!
As the leaves start to turn and the days grow cooler, we're making sure all our furry guests are comfy, cared for, and enjoying every moment of their of their stay— whether it's a playful time in our enrichment area then back to a warm bed or a snuggly cat watching the autumn leaves fall from a sunny windowsill.

Not long now before we can start to take your 2026 bookings .
Spaces will fill up quickly so don't leave it too late!
In the meantime remember Christmas and New Year is also a busy time we have limited availability for the festive period so if you are planning a break get those dates to us asap .

It’s a busy bank holiday , but for a change it’s not raining 😆
The recent hot weather made it difficult for us to capture your dogs best moments last week so thankyou for your patience and understanding, their safety during these hot periods is paramount.

Well what a hectic few weeks we’ve had .
Lots of new faces joining us , loads of replacement bedding , and toys for our boarding kennels , and the finishing touches to some updates for our cattery. We like to keep up with this type of maintenance every six months. That way we always have new items in use .
