Many people know the dangers of leaving dogs in cars during hot weather, but did you know it can still be dangerous on cooler, wet and rainy days too?

🚗 A parked car can quickly become uncomfortable and stressful for your dog, even when temperatures seem mild.

Risks include:
🐾 Poor ventilation and stuffy air
🐾 Anxiety and stress from being left alone
🐾 Sudden changes in temperature
🐾 Dehydration if left for extended periods
🐾 Difficulty escaping if an emergency occurs

A dog doesn’t understand that you’ll “only be a few minutes.” What feels like a short trip to us can be frightening and stressful for them.

💚 If you’re heading somewhere dogs aren’t allowed, the safest option is always to leave them comfortably at home.

Every season brings different risks, but your dog’s safety should always come first.

Here’s a simple guide 👇

🐾 Short coat
Every 6–8 weeks for a bath, brush, and tidy

🐾 Double coat
Every 6–10 weeks with regular de-shedding in between

🐾 Curly/wool coat (e.g. doodles)
Every 4–6 weeks to prevent matting

🐾 Long silky coat
Every 4–6 weeks to keep it tangle-free

🐾 Wire coat
Every 6–8 weeks to keep it neat and manageable
