We have some exciting news to share with you all.
Over the past several months, you’ve likely noticed the building works and occasional disruption on site – and we want to thank you for your patience! It’s all been part of a major transformation on the estate that we are on.
Behind the scenes, we’ve been working hard too – and we’re thrilled to finally share what it’s all been for…
Our brand-new, Woofingtons Pet Emporium Superstore is currently being built and will hopefully launch later this year.
What does this mean for our customers?
🐾 Three Times the Sales Space
We’re trebling the size of our sales area, giving us the space to stock even more of your favourite brands, and… we’re bringing back products for cats, birds, and small animals – just like we did when we first opened in 2014 before specialising in dogs. We will also be introducing a new equine range.
📦 A Huge On-Site Warehouse
No more waiting on manufacturer deliveries – with greater backstock capacity, we can keep our shelves full and make our Leigh location the main distribution hub for our other stores.
🚗 More Parking – Finally!
We’ve always known parking has been tight, and now that’s changing. Our new site includes a dedicated car park, making visits easier and more convenient than ever.
🐶 More Choice, Better Prices
As you know we are already the best value store and offer the biggest range of dog foods, treats and accessories. As we move into other pet ranges we will apply the same principles to those as we do currently to our range of dog products. Which means better pricing, promotions and more choice for your pets.

This isn’t just a store expansion – it’s a major investment in the Leigh Community which has been the heart of our business since day one.
