Hello everybody, we hope you are all well during this very weird time! We have been in touch with all of our dog walking clients personally but Iβm afraid we have some bad news I wanted to make everybody aware of. As covid-19 has affected many businesses, we too have been forced to make lots of changes.
Due to the business only being up and running for two years, we havenβt been entitled to much help as a business so obviously lockdown has had its strains. Following a conversation with all our clients, it has become clear that the majority of our customers are no longer in need of a dog walker. Some people have lost jobs, some have had financial difficulty and some are just nervous which is understandable during a time like this, especially as most of our clients are elderly/disabled. With the little custom Iβm afraid I have made the difficult decision to return to full time employment for obvious reasons. We will honour any holiday care that is booked with us in case your holidays arenβt cancelled and message you about this in due course!
We are going to miss your furbabies more than you know! In an attempt to stay in contact with some of our lovely customers, we will remain open for holiday care. However due to my upcoming work schedule this can only be feasible outside of term time. Following the guidelines from the government we will need to limit the number of pets staying and drop off/collection will need to be done by appointment only as we follow the business handover protocol set out by CFSG. We canβt apologise enough for the inconvenience this will cause to some of you and we only hope we get to see you again soon! Take care and please get in touch if there is anything we can help with. Lots of love, Katie and family πΎ
