I've temporarily unpublished the Play Paddock website whilst I look into how to allow trusted users only to be able to book a field slot. After all the damage done in the last couple of months, I intend to limit bookings to those who've used the field before and who have treated the field properly.

++++++POSHPAWS PLAY PADDOCK IS PERMANENTLY CLOSED WITH IMMEDIATE EFFECT. +++

For the 3rd weekend in a row, people have turned their cars around on the saturated field, causing a lot of damage. There are 3 areas where it's obvious a car has been driven on the field. This one clearly got stuck and they had to use logs to get the car out. Seeing the damage they've caused they've then used 2 bags of play sand, stored in the corner of the field to attempt to fill the holes left. No message to me with an apology or anything. I'm disgusted by some people's behaviour and attitude. I'm sure they think it's hilarious. I will honour existing bookings and allow friends, fellow dog walkers and trusted people to use the field but not the general public. I don't need the hassle.

This is absolutely not on. Whoever used the field on Saturday afternoon, DO NOT drive on the field to turn around, especially not in the wet conditions. If you can't reverse in or out, I suggest you take your test again. You're not welcome, if this is how you're going to treat my field.

Booking for the paddock has reopened now that the gasworks have moved away from the top of the cul de sac. Turning around in the cul de sac is still a little awkward but please DO NOT turn your car around on the grass inside the paddock. Thank you x

+++++IMPORTANT NOTICE++++
Due to there being repair works taking place on Netherley Road, the Paddock will not be available to hire this coming weekend, Saturday 15th & Sunday 16th November. Access to the Cul de Sac is very limited and there is restricted turning space in the close once you've reversed out of the paddock. I don't want people turning their cars around on the field and churning it up ( which is already happening, even though no-one should be driving on the grass at all) . Sorry for any inconvenience.

Thank you to everyone who used the paddock this weekend for keeping it so tidy. I only had to pick up 2 missed poops this morning, there was no litter and no chewed up toys disguarded. A couple of Mondays ago I picked up 17 poops following the weekend, plus loads of chewed tennis balls and some drinks/ water bottles. I was starting to consider closing the paddock down I was that fed up of clearing up mess. So thank you once again to this weekend's paddock users xx

Little rant this morning. I use the paddock for my own dog walks. Every morning I arrive I have to clean up rubbish that people have left. Broken and chewed up toys and balls just left there. Half drunk bottles of water discarded on the field, logs from the fence in the middle of the field etc. Come on guys, this is my workplace and a private field. I'm not a council worker expected to clean up after people. Can we keep it tidy please and leave the field how you'd like to find it. Many thanks x
