Emmi-Pet 2.0 Treatments
As we now know, taking care of our dog’s oral hygiene is as important as every other aspect of their health. Pet professionals are now better equipped and qualified to carry out treatments to prevent and tackle less severe cases of oral hygiene issues before the situation develops in to case for the vets office.
Unfortunately, the truth is; pet parents are only just realising how Important it is to take care of their dogs teeth, usually after hefty vets bills, teeth extractions or expensive vet recommendations for treatment. PLEASE DONT WAIT when it comes to good oral hygiene, like US, PREVENTION is the KEY for our dogs too.
🤍 Emmi Pet Oral Care does not replace veterinary oral hygiene procedures, such as: surgical descaling or extractions - as invasive procedures require sedation. Unlike a veterinary treatments, Emmi-Pet is not an overnight fix for dogs with a heavy buildup of plaque. It’s a non-invasive treatment which will take multiple sessions. (Sessions are 30 minutes long)
🦷 Emmi Pet is not suitable for dogs with severe oral hygiene issues. Veterinary advice will be required if your dog presents with severe gingivitis and/or periodontal disease. At this point it’s too late to seek our help and veterinary treatment is required.
🤍 Bad oral hygiene doesn’t just cause painful issues in the dogs teeth and gums, if left untreated, bacteria will move under the gum line, in to the bloodstream and to their organs (heart, liver and kidneys) and can cause a multitude of health issues including death.
🦷 Prevention is the key!!!
Emmi Pet treatments can be added to the grooming appointment or separately if multiple treatments are required more frequently.
🤍 How it works
Emmi Pet works via the combination of toothpaste, water and brush head, which creates ultra sonic bubbles, it gently loosens and removes the plaque over several sessions OR keeps plaque from forming.
🦷 Current Price
First treatment: £45
(£30 treatment + £15 for an individual brush head, kept on site for every future treatment)
🤍 Follow up treatments or maintenance treatments are £30 a session if done within a maximum of 3 month period.
Price increases to £45 a session if left longer than 3 months and/or excessive plaque removal is required again.
🦷 For dogs that already have a plaque buildup: Before their first Emmi-Pet treatment.
For best results; for both your dog and your pocket, I recommend starting at home, with the products I can provide (Plaque Off & Oral hygiene gel) - applying every day for approximately a month before their first treatment. This has proven to be effective with many of my customers, by softening the buildup, which in turn allows me to remove it, on average in 1-4 treatments. (Dependant on each individual case)
