Job Title: Deli Counter & Sandwich Shop Assistant

Location: Middlehurst Widnes

Job Type: 2 x Part-time vacancy 1 x Saturday work

Pay: £ 13.00 per hour (depending on age) will rise in April

Job Description:

We are looking for a friendly and reliable team member to join our busy deli and sandwich shop in Widnes. The role involves preparing fresh sandwiches, serving customers at the deli counter, weighing deli products, and helping keep the shop clean and organised.

Responsibilities:

* Prepare sandwiches, salads, and deli items
* Serve customers and take customer orders
* Weigh and portion meats and cheeses accurately for customers
* Use scales to measure deli products correctly
* Operate the till and handle payments
* Maintain cleanliness and follow food hygiene standards
* Restock ingredients and supplies as needed

Requirements:

* Friendly and positive attitude
* Good communication and customer service skills
Basic maths skills are essential to accurately weigh and prices
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
* Previous food service experience is helpful but not required (training provided)
