WOW.
We’re doing it again!
The Step Pets community and the reach we have when put our hearts and minds toward a good cause amazes me every time! 😍

Please click below for this story. My ‘giving back in the community’ project was to get two stray cats some antibiotics and vaccination. It is now a mission to save the life of a cat with injury wounds that suggest he may have been shot in the head 😫

We can’t say for sure what happened until x-rays etc are done- but his injury is so severe that when the vets cleaned the wound on his head- the solution poured out of his nostrils 🥺

This little guy deserves someone to fight for him. He’s currently living in my bathroom so he has a chance to recover due to infection risks to my own pets. I want to ensure that he gets every chance a pet cat would have. We have no idea how much that may cost- it really depends what they-rays show when he is feeling well enough to have sedation.

Every donation counts and every donation may open up new possibilities for this little guy. We initially thought he was going to be put to rest, but we planned and fundraised so that he can get his x-rays. Specialist treatment could cost thousands. But wherever he has a chance- we’re stepping up and doing our best to make sure it’s an option for him!

Just checking in!

I’m sorry the socials and admin have been a little quiet. I’m trying really hard to stay on top of things while not knowing what the next day will bring regarding lewi’s updates- it’s soul destroying trying to keep everything going as normal when there’s so much stress behind the scenes.

It’s been a week of him not being home now and it’s heartbreaking. Every day there’s equal amount of hope he can come home- with equal amounts of fear because he just isn’t ready and we don’t know when he will be.

Sorry that I’m not able to book much in extra at the moment, every opportunity I can- I will- as lewi’s bills are racking up very quickly.

Let’s all send him good vibes to make a good enough recovery to enjoy more of his precious life 🥰

In the meantime- Your pets will receive all my love during their visits. I appreciate you all for understanding Lewi will need to be top priority when he gets the chance to come home while he tries to get back on his feet ❤️ Thank you to those of you who can and are accommodating short notice changes so that I can make sure I’ll be there when Lewi needs me 💕
