We’re delighted to share some very exciting news with you!
We have now been granted planning permission to introduce boarding at
The Fancy Hound. This is a fantastic step forward for us and something we’re really excited to be able to offer our customers and their dogs.
Temporary Monday and Saturday Daycare Closures
To allow us to carry out the essential works needed to put the overnight rooms into place, we will be temporarily closing the daycare on Mondays and Saturdays.
These changes will take place as of the Monday 24th August 2026. This will not affect anyone that has bookings with us prior to this date.
How will this affect daycare?
The short answer is — it won’t!
The works required for the overnight rooms will have no impact on our existing daycare rooms, outdoor spaces or the day-to-day running of the daycare.
Our daycare will continue to operate as normal from Tuesday to Friday, with your dogs enjoying all of their usual spaces, routines, walks and enrichment activities.
In fact, the works will only bring improvements to The Fancy Hound, helping us to develop the facilities further and provide an even better service for both our daycare and future overnight guests.
Grooming Services
Please also be assured that our grooming services will not be affected by the temporary closure of daycare on Mondays and Saturdays. Grooming will continue to run as normal, and all appointments will go ahead as scheduled.
We’re really excited about this next chapter for The Fancy Hound and can’t wait to show you what we’ve been working towards. The new overnight rooms will allow us to offer an even wider range of services and give our customers greater flexibility when it comes to caring for their dogs.
We’ll keep you updated as the work progresses and let you know when the overnight stays are ready to launch.
