Poppy loves to curl up and cuddle 🫶🏼

She was reunited with some known friends and got to make some new friends. She loved to try and lay in the sun, until Charlotte would ruin her fun by saying it’s getting too hot now ☀️

We will see you again soon 💕

Wow baby brought the hot weather with her 🥵☀️

Her confidence has grown soo much in her time here. She’s gone from being a bit shy to running around playing with the other doggies. She was reunited with her friend Cooper and made lots of new friends 🩵🩷

I often get asked the question, when is it too hot to walk my dog?

There is so many things to take into consideration:

💦 Water, do you have fresh water with you whilst on your walks?

🕶️Shade, are you walking in shaded areas? Woods?

🐾 The breed, every dog is different and some suffer with the heat more than others. I often have people say to me but dogs live in hot countries and they’re ok. Yes that is correct. However our doggies are not used to the heat in this country and the heat is very different

💦 I took my dog for a swim in the lake on a hot day to keep cool. This is great however this can be dangerous because your dog will feel cool from the water but when they come out they won’t realise how hot it is. I bet they have zoomies after right? The UV is still the same whether your doggy has been swimming or running in a field.

Please use this graph as a reference. You know your doggies but please keep them safe in the heat ☀️

Today whilst the doggies cooled themselves in front of the fans it was time for me to get to work 🐾💨

It was time to clean and disinfect the garden ready for our new arrival tomorrow. 🫧🧽

Who will be the first one in? Who will enjoy it more 🤔

The paddling pool will be back out ready for the hot bank holiday weekend ☀️
