Fun day announcement!! 🥳🥳🥳🥳

Tuesday 15th 10.00 to 14.30. Fun day designed by the winner of our competition Ella!!!

Ella has designed an absolutely fantastic fun day and we are really excited about it.

Places are limited so please book in early to secure a place.

Competition time!

After many, many requests we are introducing our very own Gansclett Riding School fun days 🥳

And so... we are giving YOU the opportunity to design your dream fun day AND the winner will get to attend their designed fun day free of charge!!!

Rules:

1 free entry per person, we will allow extra entries, but a donation of £1 must be made to the horses treat fund per extra entry.

It can be ridden, groundwork, care or a mix of everything.

As it's our first fun day it must be inclusive for everybody, for example a jump course can easily be set to ground poles for those who aren't jumping yet, but galloping in the fields will be out of the capabilities of our lead rein riders.

Jack absolutely refuses to do anything involving being made pink, Ziggy will consider it if food is involved.

The fun day can be anything from 3 hours to 6 hours.

The fun day will take place during the Easter holidays (April).

Please send all entries through to our Facebook chat or write them down and hand them to Matt or Lian.

Entries to be in by the 18th March. Winner will be announced 21st March.

Do you want to learn more about horses, have a career in the equine industry, or perhaps your child is keen to get their own pony and you have no clue what's involved in caring for one. We are about to run an NPA Level 4 course in Horse Care FREE for anyone over the age of 12 on a Friday evening 5-7pm. Get in touch to learn more. Other levels and times also available.

Merry Christmas to our lovely customers if we don't get to see you over the festive period we hope you have a wonderful time. Safety is always top of the list when it comes to our clients and our horses. This is why we partnered with Charles Owen to sell their riding hats and body protectors.

We are on the search for a couple of horses on behalf of clients.

Approximately 14-14.2hh mainly for schooling but capable and able to jump 60 - 80, possibly the odd show here and there, so ideally seen the world a bit. Young riders first own pony so nothing too strong or silly. Rider is confidently cantering and jumping to around 65 currently.

Approximately 16-17.3hh fairly level headed. Rider is incredibly capable and experienced but wants something a bit calmer for next horse. Nothing particularly hot headed.

Both clients have their own land and great facilities. Both clients will be vetting prior to purchase.

If anyone knows of a horse that matches either description please let us know :)

We are often asked by our riders what is our favorite thing about horses? Easy! There is always an opportunity to learn something completely new and we really love a challenge!

Lilly and Lian have been having great fun wheelchair training a sweet, cheeky little pony for his lovely owners. The learning curve of the challenges being in a wheelchair has been a great learning experience for us as well as a big eye opener. We are really, really grateful for the opportunity to look at horses from a whole new angle and are loving every minute of seeing our training methods working in a whole new way. It fills us with massive amounts of joy, seeing the delight little "sweetheart" brings to his owners. We are quite excited to see how far we can take this one!

We passionately believe that horses have something to offer everyone and we hope to never, ever stop learning something new about our favorite four legged friends.
