Apologies to any of our customers who have received emails or invoices from previous stays with us yesterday and today.

We are currently working towards a new booking system in which customers can check availability and make/amend their own bookings but the process has meant some information has had to be put in retrospectively hence generating further invoices.

Please bear with us as we try to improve our systems, just one of the ways we are striving to become even better!

IMPORTANT INFORMATION!!!!


We have had several cases of confirmed parvovirus in the last few months so we are strongly advising everyone to ensure their dog’s vaccinations are up to date.

Signs & symptoms of parvovirus include:

Vomiting; with or without the presence of blood

Diarrhoea; with or without the presence of blood, foul odour

Dull demeanour

Abdominal pain

Fever

Decreased appetite

Lethargy

This virus can be very serious & although vaccination does not stop your pets contracting the infection, it does significantly reduce the severity of the symptoms & improves the chance of successful treatment.

PLEASE VACCINATE!!!

If your dog displays any of these symptoms please contact the surgery immediately.

Due to the highly contagious nature of this infection & the risk to other dogs, we have set a new policy requesting dogs be kept in the carpark to minimise spread within the practice. Guidelines will be given upon making appointments.

✨ Price Increase – Effective 1st September 2025 ✨

We would like to inform all our valued customers, both old and new, of a planned price adjustment from 1st September 2025.

We have worked hard to delay any changes for as long as possible, but due to rising operational costs – including higher insurance premiums, increased staffing levels to give your pets even more dedicated care and attention, and staff wage increases in line with new government rates – this is a step we now need to take.

Please note:
📌 All current bookings will be honoured at our existing prices.
📌 Any bookings made between now and 31st August 2025 will also be charged at our current rates.

New prices from 1st September 2025 (all prices exclusive of VAT):
• £35/day – 1 dog
• £50/day – 2 dogs sharing
• £65/day – 3 dogs sharing

This decision has not been made lightly. However, it will ensure we can continue to provide the exceptional care, luxury facilities, and high safety standards your dogs deserve – while upholding our reputation as a 5-Star Council Rated business with a 100% 5-Star customer rating.

Three cheers for our Olivia! 👏🥳

Following another successful trial of a new guest that we had no expectations for, very much a case of bring him along and we will see what we can do and help him the best we can!

After a lengthy discussion of Winston’s previous issues and behaviour with his owner, we set a trial date and allocated Olivia as Winston’s member of staff for the duration of his stay to help with continuity and routine.

Once again our Liv has got an amazing outcome for Winston and his family who were worried about leaving him to attend a family wedding. With lots of time & patience, understanding & knowledge as well as teamwork, Winston now has a holiday home with us for the future 🐾❤️

What a first year! We hit the ground running last May and have barely slowed down since, over 500 dogs through our doors and many repeat customers, some on over 10+ stays with us!

Thankyou all for your custom and trusting us with your fur babies! We appreciate every single booking and will continue to uphold our reputation and excellent service to you all for the next year and beyond!

✨ VISITS & VIEWINGS ✨

✨We are getting lots of new enquiries for the year ahead and understandably we are getting many people asking if they can come and view our kennels.

✨ We fully understand and respect why people wish to come and see our premises but unfortunately we do not allow visitors as we try to limit the foot fall through our kennels as we try to keep our guests as settled as possible and if we were to have people regularly looking around we don’t feel this is fair on them!

✨ Our aim is to keep your dogs in a structured routine and keep them as settled and in a home-like environment as much as possible whilst limiting change. Our building is purpose built and structured to limit traffic throughout the building awell as all kennels being single facing so dogs are not able to see each other when inside their own kennel.

✨ We hope you can understand why we have this rule in place, please see our video from last year we think you would agree, the evidence is there!
