Mother Cat and her kittens have been brought into our Whitton branch this morning after they were found in a black cat carrier, under a tree in Murray Park.

As the temperatures rise, and we still see dogs out on walks, we thought we'd show just how HOT the ground is!

At our Whitton branch, we had our student Nurse, Tihana, put her hand on the ground to see how long she could keep it there. This was done at 1:30pm today, while the temperature was sitting at 31°.

5 seconds 😱😱😱

Please do not walk your dog if you cannot keep your hand or foot on the ground! They can't tell us that their paws are buring.

Best times to walk your dogs during hot weather is either early in the morning or in the evening, when it tends to be abit more cooler.

Often called viral haemorrhagic disease, it is seen frequently in unvaccinated rabbits because it spreads quickly through direct and indirect contact with infected rabbits.

The best way to protect your pet is with regular vaccinations throughout their life. This not only protects them but also decreases the spread of disease.

**Whitton Clients**

Due to the ongoing road works around the Whitton area, we ask that any Clients that have an appointment this week, please allow extra time for your journey.

This is to help make sure that you arrive on time for appointments and avoid having to possibly rebook.

We will of course try and see all our appointments that are a few minutes late but please remember this might not always be possible if you are more than 5/10 minutes late.
