🦷 Domino’s Dental Day 🐾

Lovely Domino was in with us today for her dental procedure. ❤️

Unfortunately, she had marked periodontal disease, meaning five teeth were no longer healthy enough to save and needed to be extracted.

Her remaining teeth were given a thorough clean and polish, leaving her mouth much healthier and more comfortable. 🦷✨

Domino was such a good girl throughout and we wish her a smooth recovery at home. Lots of cuddles are definitely prescribed! 🥰🐶

🐾 A Busy Day for Jerry 💙

Handsome Jerry was in with us today for his castration and hernia repair.

Jerry is cryptorchid, meaning one of his testicles had not descended normally.
An ultrasound was used to locate the retained testicle within his abdomen before surgery, allowing us to plan its removal.
Both testicles were successfully removed and his hernia was repaired during the same anaesthetic.
Jerry did really well throughout and recovered nicely. 🥰
Now it’s time for some well-earned rest while everything heals. ❤️‍🩹
Well done, Jerry! 🐶💙

🐾 George’s Investigation Day 🩻
Lovely George was in with us today after developing a left hind leg lameness.
Following his examination, we took X-rays under sedation to investigate further. Unfortunately, these confirmed a cranial cruciate ligament (CCL) rupture, alongside bilateral medial patellar luxation (MPL).
The good news is that George’s pre-anaesthetic blood tests were all within normal limits. ❤️
We’ll now be discussing the best treatment plan to get George comfortable and back to using his leg as well as possible.
He was a very good boy for us today! 🐶💙

🐾 Alfie's Lump Removal Surgery 💙

Alfie visited us today to have two lumps removed.

He was admitted for pre-anaesthetic blood tests before undergoing surgery, followed by intravenous fluid therapy throughout his procedure. He recovered well from his anaesthetic and is now back home resting comfortably.

The lumps have been sent to the laboratory for histopathology, and we'll update Alfie's family as soon as the results are back.

We wish you a smooth recovery, Alfie! 💙🐶

Bleu came in yesterday for his booster vaccination and was such a good boy throughout his visit.

💕 Double the Love for Pickles & Pudding! 🐱🐱

Pickles and Pudding, two lovely girls from Peterborough Cat Rescue, visited us for their spay procedures.

Both surgeries went smoothly, and we're delighted to say they recovered well from their anaesthetics before heading back to continue their recovery.

Spaying is an important step in helping to prevent unwanted litters and supports the fantastic work that Peterborough Cat Rescue does for cats in need.

Well done, Pickles and Pudding – we hope you're both enjoying plenty of rest, tasty food, and lots of fuss! 💖🐾

❤️ Sending Our Best Wishes to Little Freddie 🐱

Freddie, a tiny 3–4-week-old kitten from Peterborough Cat Rescue, was admitted to us yesterday after suddenly becoming very poorly. He had gone off his food, developed diarrhoea, and had a high fever.

Given how young and fragile he is, we admitted Freddie for intravenous fluid therapy and supportive care to give him the best chance while we continue to monitor him closely.

At the moment, his prognosis remains guarded, but we're all hoping this little fighter pulls through. Please keep Freddie in your thoughts as he continues his battle. 💙🐾

🌸 Hattie's Big Day! 🐰💕

Lovely Hattie visited us yesterday for her spay procedure.

She was a brave little patient from start to finish, and we're pleased to say everything went smoothly. Hattie recovered well from her anaesthetic and was able to head home later the same day to continue her recovery in the comfort of her own home.

We hope you're taking it easy, Hattie, and enjoying plenty of tasty treats and cuddles while you heal. Wishing you a smooth and speedy recovery! 💖🐇

🐰 Double the Cuteness! 💙💙

Oreo and Rocky spent the day with us yesterday for their castration procedures.

Both boys were absolute stars throughout the day, and we're delighted to say their surgeries went smoothly. They recovered well from their anaesthetics and were able to head home later that day to continue their recovery in the comfort of their own home.

We hope you're both enjoying plenty of rest, your favourite snacks, and lots of gentle fuss. Wishing you a speedy recovery, Oreo and Rocky! 🐇💚
