Hounds of Love Hounds of Love is a Home based Dog Grooming salon in Whitley bay. We are Level 3 City & Guilds trained groomers with Canine First Aid training.

We work from a purpose built salon based at home. We welcome all breeds and offer everything from a 'nail clip' to a 'full groom'. Spa treatments also available on request. Our priority is to provide a stress-free experience in a calming and relaxed environment. We can assure that your pet receives one-to-one care and attention at all times. We look forward to your visit.

Hi guys! That's us back to work today! Hope you are all well!
We will be trying to catch up with messages today.

Also, just a reminder to be on time for your appointment, please.
Please do not turn up early for an appointment as we probably won't be ready for you, and it's really disruptive for the dogs already in.

Collection of your dog we expect within 10-20 mins max after our call or message (unless other arrangements have been made prior to your appointment).

There will be a £5 late collection charge for every 30 mins after you are expected.

Sometimes, we have rescues or nervous dogs, and we prefer dogs to be dropped and collected on time because of this reason, too.

We do not have a card machine.
Cash is preferred.
If you must pay by bank transfer this should be made on the day of your appointment.
If not, we will ask you to pay cash going forward.

Our opening hours are 9am-5pm Tuesday-Friday and 9-3pm on Saturday.
Messages will be replied to during these times.

Our books are closed to new customers at this present time.

Other than that, we are looking forward to seeing you all over the summer months
