🌿 **Morning Yard Help Wanted** 🌿

We're looking for a reliable freelancer to join us for **a couple of hours each morning** to help with general yard duties.

The role includes:
🐴 Mucking out
🌾 Hay, feed and water
🧹 Sweeping and general tidying
🐎 Turning horses out/bringing in (where required)
💪 Helping keep the yard running smoothly before the day gets underway

Experience with horses is preferred, and you'll need to be confident working independently and have a good eye for detail.

This would suit someone looking for a few regular hours each morning around other work or commitments.
Additional hours may be available for the right person if wanted.

📣📣📣We’re looking for an instructor to join our team at Springbank Equestrian Centre / Springbank CLTH CIC.📣📣📣

Primarily a weekend role teaching within the riding school, however there is additional work available Monday–Friday across both the riding school and our Alternative Provision programme for the right person.

We are looking for someone who:

Is qualified or has substantial teaching experience

Enjoys teaching riders of all ages and abilities
Genuinely likes working with children and young people

Is reliable, hardworking and a good team player

Has a sense of humour and can fit into a busy, supportive yard environment

Wants to teach and help riders progress, not just stand in the middle shouting instructions 🤣

Experience within a riding school environment preferred. Additional skills welcomed.

Based in the heart of the Cheshire countryside with fantastic facilities including indoor and outdoor arenas and a lovely team environment.

⭐️ Yard Staff – Live-In Role (Couples Welcome) ⭐️
📍 Malpas, Cheshire

Looking for someone who takes real pride in their work, wants responsibility, and isn’t afraid of a proper horsey lifestyle.

We are looking for an experienced, reliable and hardworking person to join our team on a BHS approved busy riding school livery and competition yard.

This is a live-in position with two-bedroom accommodation included, and would ideally suit a couple looking for a long-term role working together on a well-established yard.

The main role is hands-on yard work, with responsibility for supporting the day-to-day running of the yard and taking sole charge when required. We are looking for someone confident, capable and happy to get stuck in.

The Role:
All general yard duties (mucking out, feeding, turnout etc.)
Keeping the yard running smoothly day to day
High standard of horse care for both riding school horses and competition ponies
Clipping, trimming and pulling to a good standard
Tack cleaning and general organisation

Requirements:
Solid experience in a riding school environment is essential
Confident handling a range of horses and ponies
Able to lunge and ideally ride if small enough (competition ponies)
Must be able to teach (qualifications not essential, experience is)
Reliable, practical and hard working
Basic computer literacy required
Diving licence (HGV) bonus as isolated if don’t drive
There are competition ponies on site, so attention to detail and high standards are important.

For Couples:
There is the opportunity for a second role alongside this position, suited to someone with experience in:
Tractor work
General yard maintenance
Site upkeep
This can be shaped depending on experience.
Accommodation:
Two-bedroom accommodation included as part of the role
Own horse welcome
Well-behaved dog considered (depending on temperament)
Package:

We are looking at running a stage 1 training course which will help you towards achieving your BHS Stage 1 exam. This will run over a 12 week period and will cover both riding and stable management. The sessions will be 2 hours long, currently we are thinking this will run on a Saturday, if there's enough interest we may also run one in the week. Cost will be £599 for the 12 week course, this is payable is 2 payments, one before starting the course and the other after the initial 6 weeks. if you could let us know if your interested so we can finalise details.
