We are a friendly and welcoming dog agility club based in the Staffordshire Moorlands. We currently train at a fantastic indoor venue between Wetley Rocks and Werrington. Our Beginners class starts at 7.00pm and is open to any dog that can sit, stay, come back and be good with other dogs off the lead. All breeds of dogs with a basic level of obedience are welcome. People often assume border collie

s are the only breed that can do agility, but over the years, dogs ranging from tiny Yorkshire Terriers to Great Danes have competed. As long as the dog is fit and healthy there is no reason why it cannot be trained to do agility. Most dogs have great fun doing agility and they form a strong relationship with their agility handler. Agility handlers can also be any age or fitness level, as dogs can be trained to work either close to the handler or at a distance. Urgent help from all my dog/horse/farm/sport friends.
Our small dog agility club has been going for over 20 years and is now at risk due to the venue we train at every Thursday evening being closed down after the new year.
We need find a new venue for hire for 2 - 2 1/2 hours each Thursday evening. We have our own equipment and insurance. We are considerate and always make sure we leave the venue clean and tidy.

Septembers dog of the month is the lovely Ralph. He has been with us for almost 4 months and is proving to be a total super star. Together with his handler Eleanor Morrisroe they make an amazing team and we can’t wait to see what they achieve. Plus he’s a totally handsome pooch too ❤️

Member update - this is Erin Smallbone with her working spaniel Poppy. At 14 months old, Poppy is the youngest dog in the club, always having fun and wanting to play but still learning quickly and doing well after 6 weeks of training. ❤️👏
