Hi everyone 👋

Hope you and all your wonderful woofers are doing well 😊

Just wanted to let you all know that I am still here but working with a slightly reduced availability at the moment, and I am therefore unable to take on any new clients at this time.

I will continue to see all existing clients 🐾 and will endeavour to accommodate days and times for appointments as best I can for you all 🥰

Thank you all so much for your continued support, especially now when times are so financially tough for everyone, it really is appreciated 🤗💕

A few of you have been asking about the hide and seeks so I thought I'd do a little post explaining why we are pausing the game for a bit...

5 weeks ago Buddy was referred to neurology specialists and had a MRI scan. He has been diagnosed with a herniated disc in his c-spine with nerve root involvement and unfortunately surgery is not really an option in his case. Everything needed to stop- walks, swimming, training and of course his hide and seek games 😔

The recovery is long but he is making good progress following the rules; even though its pretty tough at times! 🥴

Pivotal to his improvement has been the help and support from Mathilde Granger at Vet and Physio - Regular acupuncture treatments alongside his medications and massage has made a real difference but most importantly Buddy loves going to see her 😍

It has taken me a little time to get my head around everything but those of you who already knew - thankyou for your messages of support 🤗 This has been a big learning curve for me, so if anyone has any questions at all I am more than happy to chat things though 😊

For reference, the first 3 pictures were taken within the first few days of the acute onset...posture changes, low head carriage, right fore lameness. The last 2 have been taken this week 🥰

Such a treat to see this darling girl yesterday 😍🤗

Ruby's pawrent had noticed some subtle differences in her movements whilst in training so booked her in for a massage treatment. She was quite right!

Ruby was particularly tight within the muscles around the right forelimb. Initially Ruby tried all the tricks in the book to avoid having treatment to this area, however after heat pack application to bring extra warmth to the tissues she relaxed with swedish massage and began to fall asleep 💆‍♀️🥰

It was so lovely meeting this gorgeous one yesterday 🥰🐾

Unfortunately about 8 weeks ago Bear and her family experienced a traumatic event 😣 Since then Bear has been showing some behaviour changes including new noise sensitivity.

Her pawrent got in touch to see if massage therapy would be indicated and I saw Bear for a muscle health check and to discuss how massage can be of benefit for dogs with anxiety issues.

As suspected Bear is carrying a lot of tension in her neck and shoulder muscles with some associated myofascial restriction aswell.
Once vet consent is in place I shall be working with this beautiful girl to help her feel more comfortable and hopefully more relaxed too 🤗🤞

Run free gorgeous Molly, you absolute beauty 💖🌈

I have had the pleasure of knowing Molly both professionally and personally for nearly 5 years. Molly would have had her 14th birthday in Dec, however an aggressive cancer ment saying goodbye so much sooner than we had hoped 😢💔

Molly enjoyed her regular massages which would help to keep her supple and comfortable for all her wonderful activities and exploring 🐾 She knew exactly where the treats were kept... her nose always worked perfectly 😂🤭
Massage aside, Molly was a much loved friend, not only to me but for Buddy also. They loved their time spent together, running and chasing, having fun in the water and enjoying sleepovers 🥰 We will both miss these fun times but will cherish the wonderful memories we do have 💕

We are very much thinking of Molly's pawrent at this difficult time and sending love her way xx
