World Elephant Day: Keeper Camera Roll 🐘📸

Today we celebrated ! Here at Noah’s Ark Zoo Farm we are home to the largest elephant facility in the UK. It is home to 4 African bull elephants, Shaka, Janu, Uli and Sutton.

To mark the occasion our keepers proudly demonstrated their protected contact training routine and trumpeted about the importance of the bachelor facilities in wider conservation programmes.

Roar into World Lion Day 🦁

Join us today in celebrating . Here at Noah's Ark Zoo Farm we have two African Lions, Arusha and Tau. The pair moved into their newly built habitat earlier this year as part of Project Carnivora.

Our pride are brilliant ambassadors for their species and continue to help us educate the future generation of conservationists.

🎤 Lion Talk - TODAY we are running a special lion talk 1.15PM to celebrate World Lion Day. Head to the new lion viewing area and meet our team of big cat keepers.

Set in over 100 acres of countryside in the outskirts of Bristol. Noah’s Ark Zoo Farm is home to over 100 species of animal, from the Big Zoo variety; African Elephants, Giraffes, Rhinos, Lions and Bears, to the smaller but no less impressive; Gibbons, Lemurs, Birds of Prey and Reptiles and Farm favourites such as Sheep, Lambs, Pigs and Chicks. We are passionate about caring for our animals and invite our visitors to have fun-filled, educational and exciting animal experiences through hands-on animal encounters, exhibits and keeper talks. We encourage conservation through everything we do, including our educational workshops, fundraising events and the messages we communicate.
