Cruise Control Canine Massage

Cruise Control Canine Massage 8 years ago I took my dog Scrumpy to see a canine massage therapist as he had injured himself competing in agility.

I was so impressed by the improvement massage had made to him after the 3 sessions that I looked into learning the skill myself. I studied with the Canine Massage Therapy centre for 2 years learning canine anatomy, physiology, gait analysis, massage techniques and much more. It was very intense but well worth it as I am now able to help other dogs and I'm now a member of the Canine Massage Guild a

nd a committee member. So in my tribute to Scrumpy who's Pedigree name is Brueway Cruise Control, I have set up Cruise Control Canine Massage.

REMINDER!!! TONIGHT @ 7pm FREE MASTERCLASS WITH NATALIE LENTON - Link at the bottom of this post. No registration needed just turn up!✨✨

🐾 Online Mini Massage Masterclass – Live with Natalie Lenton
Join canine. massage expert Natalie Lenton on
Wednesday 22nd October at 7pm (UK) for a 75-minute interactive Zoom workshop where you’ll learn how to gently connect with your dog through safe, soothing massage techniques. ALSO learn why one of these foundational techniques is taught incorrectly in the world of professional massage and animal therapy (seriously) and how to avoid charlatans when it comes to choosing a massage therapist for your dog.

In this relaxed, hands-on session, Natalie will guide you step-by-step through three foundational techniques designed to help your dog unwind while helping you understand their body, assess for areas of tension, and deepen your bond.

As she demonstrates with her own dogs you will see the various biomechanical positions the dogs present, so that you will have options to try out and how to work WITH your dog rather than ON your dog. They don't need to lie down, just be present with you and you with them.

You’ll work with your own dog in real time as she demonstrates the techniques and discusses their physiological and psychological benefits while encouraging you and your dog to join in. She shares insights from over 20 years in canine massage therapy, and shows you how mindful touch can improve awareness, trust, and relaxation.

Quite often these foundational techniques are taught incorrectly but with Natalie you can be assured to get it right first, time every time!

We look forward to seeing you and your dog there!

Room opens at 6.50pm

When it comes to canine athletes, everyone talks about training, conditioning, and drive β€” but few truly understand the science of recovery.

Join Anya Westland, canine rehabilitation and performance specialist, for an unmissable session that reveals how recovery is the hidden key to peak performance, injury prevention, and long-term soundness in sporting dogs.

Whether your dog competes in agility, flyball, hoopers, obedience, or canicross, this talk will show you how muscle fatigue, microtrauma, and poor recovery can quietly undermine performance β€” and what you can do about it.

Anya will share practical, evidence-informed techniques to help you:

Boost muscle repair and flexibility between training sessions

Reduce the risk of strains, trigger points, and compensatory injuries

Improve performance longevity and keep your dog feeling their best

Give your canine athlete the edge they deserve β€” it’s not just about how hard they train, but how well they recover.

🎟️ Free to attend as part of Canine Muscular Health Awareness Month, no need to book just join following the link which will be posted below (to be updated) we will also put a reminder out on the day :)
