Friday morning has seen two sets of paws trot out of The Dog Family WSM 🐕🐕

Firstly Teddy who has been with us so long his fringe has grown over his eyes!
Teddy, an older gentleman does believe himself to be a puppy and I dare not tell him he isn’t, instead I have kept a close watch and calmed over activity if needed 😂
A big thinker, a happy boy and a joy to host 💙🐾🐕

Second to leave was Betsy; she is most happiest paddling by the waters edge.
Beautiful Betsy doesn’t care for pristine apperances and has regularly got herself into all sorts of messes - twigs in her hair, dirt up her back and very muddy socks - amazingly her eyebrows always stay the same ❤️🐾🐕

Elegant Pepper has been to stay 🐾❤️, such a calm loyal character who is sometimes a little mischievous with her familiar hunger strike in the hope for meat slices and it’s never long before she’s at the front of the queue for a treat 😂

Pepper has a love for water and only shares her voice during playtime - she did surprise me as she bounded towards the pond and through the waves. She made a great playmate in Buddy who was pleased to be chased around the garden 🪴

She is also a girl after my own heart and happy to nap endlessly in many strange positions!

Let’s take a moment to remember our very first guest - Twix, a charming lady who kept Nonna entertained (and drove her slightly mad 😂😜)with her commitment to ball and frisbee return, she loved being hosed down to cool off and just being with people.

Such sad news that she has left this world, I am sure her next will be filled with more balls and perhaps this time they will be rugby shaped 🏉

This week we have a new boy in town - Reggie, who is just testing us! Reggie has loved the hay bale photo shoot with regulars Chase, Holly R, Holly V and Buddy. Nelly the Puppy tried her best but I couldn’t help chuckling when she fell straight through them!

Middle Nells and Rubes were not hay bale interested. Rubes had had a beautiful summer haircut - definitely a few years younger!

Monty popped in and quickly rolled in something undesirable - such a lovely young boy who knows his own mind - happy to chase and play but equally happy to take himself away to rest 💙

Our very own Mimi came for a short visit and absolutely loved being reunited with her friends 🙌 I love her little bond with Buddy 💙❤️

We bump into Grace on her family walks but she hasn’t visited for ages so it was wonderful having her for the day - I was very jealous of her home baked toast and butter! 🧈

Wallace pulled off the green foliage stuck all over his face after throwing himself in the stream 🍃

Reggie came out for cake and flirted with all the ladies that would pat him ❤️🐾

We popped in to see Coops for a little snuggle and natter 💙

Little Nells had a fab daycare session with taxi rides, another girl who owns our home 🏡 😜

Ralphie & Rosie 💙❤️ - That’s all I’m saying 🐾❤️🐕🐕

Lovely to see Vin Bob, fantastic borrow from Canine Adventures - Dog Walking Weston Super Mare - not sure he was particularly pleased with his misjudgment of the water depth 🙄

Big Nelly & Boris - always a fantastic greeting on arrival and this week they both stayed CLEAN 🧽

Skylar enjoyed a ball and a swim, but the poor girl has injured her toe 😢 hopefully she will heal quickly and be back to the ball and swim in no time 🏊‍♀️ 🎾

Lastly Hugo who enjoyed a Saturday session with 2 walks and a lot of love ❤️

It’s Willow and what a lucky lucky lady to have the best of both worlds spending time with The Dog Family WSM and kristy's pet services whilst her owners were on holiday ❤️🏖️

The birthday lights came out again as Willow turned 4 and she was very pleased with a rather large tennis ball 🎾

Not keen on water she suprised me when she followed her team mates straight into the waves and then a ball straight into the still water 💦 💧 🙌

Willow joined me on some early morning jogs, has mastered the art of sleeping sitting up, loves a lap and was spotted yawning during a venture out 😜(Oh Willow!)

Willow has left with a little piece of everyones heart and we hope to see her soon 💪🐕🐾

Such a busy period looking after all your dogs I nearly forgot last weeks update.

This was the week kristy's pet services took a short break meaning we had a chance to catch up with the lab girls - Nelly, Betty & Rosie ❤️❤️❤️

This was another week still governed by early alarms to squeeze safe walks in for the troops - Skylar has been very confused when the doorbell goes before 8am, Middle Nells and Rubes were waiting in suspense, and Little Nells took a while to get going! 🐾

This was the week we have been blessed with super high tides and poor Ottie has to endure the happy bouncy beautiful retrievers and labs during a seaside walk seeing Orla, Nelly, Betty, Cooper enjoy the cool water although I really don’t think she minded as she is equally beautiful 🤩 🌊

Boris was pleased to be dirtier than Big Nelly for a change.

Ralphie when not entertaining the red fox girls hid a lot in bushes. Bonnie was very much pleased to be entertained by Ralph, as was Rosie ❤️💙❤️

Holly V didn’t want any ice cream meaning when young Dotty came for a visit she could get her snout stuck in the pot 😂

Lizzie, as did Orla prove they could touch their nose with her tongues, unlike me 👅

Buddy was keen to find some left over BBQ bits, unfortunately he was unsuccessful and everything he found in the black bag was boring 🥱

And Milli? Well Milli was Milli in her very demure Milli way 💪🙌

Four very familiar faces were the last of our weekend departures.
All treat our home like their own if they are staying over two weeks like Mabel, 2 nights like Bird or a swift mini break like Wellie & Nellie.

Mabel is our sweet, slightly scatty (we wouldn’t have it any other way) girl who has slipped right back into her Dog Family routine - A good nights sleep, an awesome walk, some shadow chasing and a cuddle with the humans. 💕🐕🐾

Wellie will one day wade into the middle of the Woodspring pond but the next delicately tip toe around it as if scared he may fall in. 🤔🐾💙

And our two smalls Nellie and Bird got on like a house on fire and after Nellie got into the swing of things (I did have to carry lazy legs up the steps to the golf course) they mirrored eachothers energy - buzzing on walks and sleepily overseeing from their Dog Family safe spots ❤️❤️🐾

Look forward to seeing you all soon for new adventures 💪

Boss Man Ernie has left the building and he enjoys nothing more than digging the drowned rat look and hanging out on the beach …….. so much so that I had to carry him off! ☀️🌊

Ernie celebrated his 8th Birthday at The Dog Family WSM and was delighted with his squeaky toy which quickly went in his suitcase before anyone else took a liking to it 💪🐾

He loves a lap and will happily get his head stuck in a yoghurt pot if it means getting that last little bit.

There is no stopping Ernie, he maybe small but he has a lot of love to give and made many a friend during his 3 week stay. He particularly liked sitting under the table with Mimi ❤️💙
