❤️ Sometimes it’s more than “just grooming”…

I absolutely love what I do. I love the waggy tails, the cuddles, the transformations… and yes, even the little monkeys who think standing still is entirely optional! 😂🐾

Then something like this happens. ❤️

For my birthday, I received this gorgeous card from Willow (with a little help from her humans!) and it genuinely meant the world to me.

When you groom the same dogs regularly, they stop feeling like appointments in a diary. You get to know their personalities, their funny little habits, what makes them happy, what makes them nervous — and apparently, in Willow's case, you learn to keep your ears safely out of licking distance. 😂

Being called “Auntie Karen” absolutely got me. 🥹❤️

This is why I love Dog Brooming so much. I get to spend my days looking after some wonderful dogs, building their trust and hopefully making their grooming time somewhere they feel happy, safe and loved.

And every now and then, I get a reminder that maybe they quite like coming to see me too. 🐶❤️

This gorgeous little live wire kept me on my toes and somehow managed to escape the bath TWICE… clearly he felt the groom room needed a generous coating of shampoo suds! 😂🫧

Despite his cheeky plans, Monty did brilliantly and was an absolute superstar. Plenty of patience, reassurance, cuddles and playtime always make room for even the bounciest pups 🐶💛 See you soon, Monty!
