Sadly we have had a few reports of poos not being picked up! There really is no excuse as there are spare bags in the shelter should you have forgotten your own or run out. Thank you so much to the kind considerate people who not only pick up their own but other people’s! However, we must not rely on their good nature or my time to clean up after your dog!
We really appreciate your attention to this to keep our lovely dog park as enjoyable to every one as possible. 🙏🏻💩🙏🏻

After the third hurdle turned, it was promptly snapped in half. So either a very large dog or maybe a human not quite making it over could have done this. Please can we remind you that all of the apparatus is for Canine use only 🥺 🐕🐾

I would like to introduce myself as the new manager of the Thoulstone Dog Park. I'm Mary and this is my dog Pango! We check the dog park regularly and top up the treat box and poo bag jar as required. I only have the ten minute buffer zone to check the park and will have a sign on the gate to say I'm in there but I always intend to be out before your slot. Occasionally if my timing is out, I may ring you to see if you or your dog object to me coming in while you are there, without Pango of course. It is absolutely fine if this is a problem, I can wait or go and have a cuppa in the cafe!

We would ask you to please take just a fair share of the treats and poo bags! This way there is always enough for everyone until they are topped up.

I've been really impressed with how much people are picking up after their dogs, however a few have obviously been missed, particularly near the gate. Please keep an eye on your dogs as you enter the park as we all know that will most likely be where they relieve themselves! There are two bins provided for waste.

We are aware that the field is still holding a fair bit of water. Hopefully now the sun has decided to come out it will dry up soon. The park was recently mowed and is looking great. The mud will soon dry up and we can all enjoy the park again at it's finest.

Any problems please do call me rather than leaving a bad review. All issues can be addressed and we aim to make your visit as enjoyable as possible for you and your dog(s). My number is 07899065364
