We hate to mention Christmas quite so early, but we wanted to give everyone plenty of notice that we are now fully booked for the Christmas period, with the exception of our Buttercup Lodge.

The Buttercup Lodge is our largest suite and can accommodate up to 5 cats from the same household sharing together. 🐾

We also still have some limited availability from Wednesday 30th December and into the New Year, so if you're planning a festive New Year getaway, please get in touch as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.

As some of you may already know, Ian and Vicki are excited to be building their forever home right next to the cattery, helping to secure its long-term future as a family-run, 5-star cattery.

We have chosen an eco-friendly timber construction home, which should allow for a quicker build and help minimise disruption to the day-to-day running of the cattery.

We’d like to apologise in advance for any inconvenience over the coming weeks if there are delivery lorries in the car park or occasional noise from workmen on site. Please be assured we are doing everything we can to keep disruption to both our customers and feline guests to an absolute minimum.

🐾 WE’RE HIRING – Part-Time Cattery Assistant 🐾

Clearwood Cattery is a small, family-run, 5-star rated cattery, and we are looking for a caring and reliable Part-Time Cattery Assistant to join our friendly team.

This role is offered on a zero-hours contract, with hours varying depending on the needs of the business. Shifts will primarily be mornings (8:30am–12:30pm), with some afternoon shifts (4:00pm–6:00pm).

Days of work will be discussed at interview.

The role will include:
Some weekends and bank holidays on a rolling rota
Limited hours over the Christmas period (including either Christmas Day or Boxing Day)

We are looking for someone who is:
Physically fit and happy working in a hands-on role
Flexible and reliable
Genuinely passionate about feline welfare

Due to our rural location, applicants should ideally have their own transport.

Previous experience in an animal care role would be beneficial; however, full training will be provided for the right candidate.

Salary: Dependent on age and experience.
