Energy & Frequency: What Doug taught me
There are lessons you don’t learn from textbooks, courses, or certifications. You learn them in a moment—through presence, through touch, through something so subtle it would be easy to miss if you weren’t paying attention.
Doug was one of those teachers.
I learned something powerful from him: the difference between intention and impact can be as small as the pressure of a fingertip.
Through the slightest touch of my fingers, I could shift his entire state. An intense flick created one response. A soft, almost invisible rub created something entirely different. Within seconds, his energy would change—not slowly, not gradually, but instantly.
That experience stayed with me.
Because it wasn’t really about the dog.
It was about energy. Frequency. Sensitivity. Connection.
And not everyone perceives it the same way.
Over time, I’ve come to understand that the work I do—especially with dogs, but also with people—isn’t something that fits neatly into a fixed method or one-size-fits-all approach.
Some people resonate with it immediately. Others don’t.
And that’s okay.
There was a lady I worked with who had already been through two trainers and a behaviouralist. She had reached a point where she was close to giving up hope. Nothing was working the way she needed it to.
Then, through a recommendation, she reached out one more time.
We connected.
And something shifted.
It wasn’t instant perfection. It never is. But what followed was change—real change. She started doing things she never believed she would be capable of. Not because I “fixed” anything, but because something in the connection finally aligned. She could feel it. She could work with it.
And that matters more than anything.
This has taught me something I keep coming back to:
Not everyone can receive what I offer in the way I offer it.
And not every practitioner will be right for every person or every animal.
There are people who will pass through my work and never feel it land. And there are others who will feel it immediately, like something clicks into place that had been missing for a long time.
Neither is wrong.
It’s just frequency.

“The difference is incredible… I actually enjoy walking him now.” 🐾
This is Marley.
When his owner first came to me, walks were stressful, reactive, and something she genuinely didn’t enjoy.
Now?
✔ Calm, enjoyable walks
✔ Confidence taking him out with others (even around children)
✔ A dog that can switch off and relax at home
“I feel confident taking him out and about now… even if he reacts slightly, I stay calm and deal with it.”
And that’s the shift — not perfection, just understanding and control in the moment.
There are still small challenges (because real life isn’t perfect), but now she has the tools to handle them.
That’s what changes everything.

If you’re struggling with walks or feel like nothing is working, drop me a message 🐕

Even if you don’t own a dog, this is still something worth hearing.
Structure changes with the environment — leadership doesn’t.
After 14 years working as a behaviourist, one thing I often explain to clients is that not every walk looks the same.
In towns or busy streets, dogs usually walk close to me or behind me so I can manage corners, people, other dogs and the unexpected.
This walk was different.
We were out on a quiet country lane with fields all around, so the dogs didn’t need a strict heel. They could move around me naturally — in front or behind — but the structure was still there.
If I walk, we walk.
If I stop, we stop.
No pulling, no constant stopping to sniff hedges. The pack simply moves together.
The lead itself isn’t the control — it’s just a safety net. Ideally it should almost feel like an illusion, because the dogs are choosing to move with the human rather than being dragged by a piece of rope.
Balance creates better leadership.
And that balance starts with the human. Many of the people I help are overwhelmed by life and unintentionally pour that pressure into their dogs. Often the dog isn’t the real problem — the human’s cup is simply empty.
That’s why I make sure to fill mine too.
Music, time with my kids, riding my motorbike, exercise, learning new things like the saxophone — these help me find my own harmony.
When the human is balanced, the pack feels it.
And that’s where real change begins.

Well I'm back and relaxation is needed but honestly can't thank my customer enough for showing so much dedication to help her dog live it's best life! I'll hopefully put a few more videos together as Doug has helped me find even more passion for what I do! Plus just respect for the man that has taken the challenge of Douglas the dog on. Nothing can ever stop someone that believes in what they do! We go the extra mile (nearly 2000) and some more!
(I do have permission of address on video)

believe and you will achieve but actions are always rewarded. For every action the is a greater and opposite reaction, life is vibration and frequency. life doesn't need us to believe or understand it, all will be as it will be but the ink remembers what we forget! so dribble your own ink and don't listen to the rest! you think and you feel so go be so you need. there's always others playing the same melody!
Biggest respect to the owners for making the hardest choice but never giving up! together we are stronger. thank you

Here we go! I was trying to get footage to help show doug is good with he's own kind but not stupid humans as he needs to be rehoused asap....All too often, people think this knowledge just fell from the stars to my brain..I had to learn all my lessons the hard way, and I do nothing but try to help and pass it on. It's not that I can’t I won't, I won’t stop with my mission to talk for the dog in the way I see it. TO those passive-aggressive people that just want to use the words "you need to chill out," I do but with the ones that reflect it truly and not just blagging it!

I'm using another platform to express myself in what I do. My art, be that dogs, music, books or life. After 14 years of loving and hating this job I hit a new level with a dog every other professional has given up on! Never me. I appreciate not all will see this but just know this.. there is no dog I can't help and will happily let them take me to be schooled and acknowledge there is no master in this game.. just balance and harmony. Keep giving your best. No dog gives up and neither should we, ever! Until that last breath. We are all worth more than money but the air we take in and the land between our feet. Feel this in your bones and every dog will want the guidance it brings.
Hope link works.

this is raw because the struggle is real and I've opened an even bigger door than before that hides nothing. that's not what's life's about and as I ride these waves back to balance I'm grateful to those that stick around as I know I'm not easy but promise to do my best to be worthy of love and attention. let's change our own vibration to shock the nation.. p.s this is going straight up as it will just get lost in my gallery like many other things in life. let's live it and not lock fluff up!
