Your pet is overheating. What do you do RIGHT NOW?

The heat is still on 🌞 Andrea shared the signs to watch for. Today, here's exactly what to do if you think your pet is overheating:

🔵 Get them to a cool, shaded area straight away
🔵 Offer small sips of cool (not ice cold) water
🔵 Damp towels on their paws, groin and neck
🔵 Call your vet straight away. Don't wait to see if they improve

Heatstroke is an emergency. The sooner we see your pet, the better the outcome.

🌡️ It's a hot one today - and if you have a pet, this is important.

Heat stroke can come on fast - and it can be life-threatening. Here are the signs every pet owner needs to know 👇

🚨 Excessive panting or drooling
🚨 Lethargy or weakness
🚨 Vomiting or collapse
🚨 Pale, white or brick-red gums

If you see ANY of these signs, move your pet to a cool area immediately and call us on 01932 248941. Don't wait - heat stroke is an emergency.
