Established in 1998, we are a licensed Boarding Kennels & Cattery situated in a countryside location near to West Linton, 18 miles from the Edinburgh city by-pass. The Cattery is 150 metres away from the kennels so the sight or sound of dogs does not disturb the cats.

Positions Available:
🐾 Part-Time Kennel Assistant

Location:
Lochhead Cottage, Dolphinton, West Linton EH46 7AF

Job Responsibilities:
✔️ Providing daily care, feeding, and exercise for dogs and cats
✔️ Cleaning and maintaining kennels to high hygiene standards
✔️ Ensuring dogs receive attention, enrichment, and companionship
✔️ Assisting with customer check-ins and pick-ups
✔️ Monitoring dog health and behaviour, reporting concerns to management

Requirements:
🐶 A love for animals and confidence working with dogs of all breeds
🐶 Reliable, hardworking, and physically fit for an active role
🐶 Good communication skills and ability to work in a team
🐶 Previous experience in animal care

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking individual to join our team as a Stable Hand. The role involves feeding, mucking out, and general care of horses.

Positions Available:
Part-Time Stable Hand

Location:
Lochhead Cottage, Dolphinton, West Linton EH46 7AF

Job Responsibilities:
- Feeding and watering horses according to schedule
- Mucking out stables and maintaining clean bedding
- General stable duties
- Checking horse welfare and reporting any concerns
- Assisting with other yard tasks as needed

Requirements:
- Experience with horse care
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Reliable, physically fit, and able to work independently
- Passion for horses and a strong work ethic
