Great to be back with this lovely canine bunch post holiday . Despite some challenging weather at the start of the week, we managed to enjoy ourselves safely with very early starts, lots of water for paddling, swimming and drinking and pop in visits for snuggles and toilet breaks when it was just too hot for anything else!

She’s my adorable loyal companion on my walks and I hear a carrot and potato cake has been made by her humans ❤️

It’s hot hot hot this week so usual
warm weather precautions in place - early starts, shaded woodland walks, swims/ paddles and plenty of water breaks - and that’s just for me!!🤣❤️

Happy New Year! Don’t think it’s too late to say this?

Great to be back after the Christmas break and it’s lovely to see all the fabulous dogs enjoying these very crisp blue sky days.

We have some new faces - so a big welcome to Lenny the Lhasa apso, already making himself at home and loving playing with his new friends.

I’ve also been cat sitting for the gorgeous Freia- such a friendly cat although possibly because she knows food is arriving!

A big welcome to Pip - a lovely minature Dachshund who has joined us for walks here at Walk the Dog West Bridgford. She has already made it clear what she likes - treats! And what she doesn’t like -rain!! - Can’t help but agree with her!!

7 AM starts this week as it’s been hot hot hot for the dogs! Starting off with special guests Betty and Bruce who were here with us whilst their owner was on holiday.

All dogs have been able to have a safe fun walk before the heat of the day in shaded woods with plenty of water breaks or swimming/paddling - down by the popular “doggy” beach

And for those owners out all day there’s been pop in visits

Thanks you to all my wonderful clients for being so accommodating, as I appreciate that time in the morning for pick up can be a very busy family time! But as we know the dangers of heatstroke are real!

Normal services resume next week- forecast rain! Hope everyone enjoyed the Summer!!
