🌞🐾 HOT DOG ALERT! 🐾🌞

With temperatures rising and even the schools closing because of the heat, it’s not just us humans who need to stay cool! 🥵

Here’s a little reminder to help keep your furry friends happy and comfortable:

💧 Always have fresh, cool water available�🌳 Walk early in the morning or later in the evening�🔥 Check pavements with your hand before heading out – if it’s too hot for you, it’s too hot for their paws!�🏠 Make sure they have a cool, shaded place to relax�🍦 Frozen dog-friendly treats are a great way to cool down�🚗 Never leave your dog in a car, even for a few minutes
🚶‍♀️ Avoid walking to your grooming appointment, keep those paws off the hot floor

Remember, our dogs wear a fur coat all year round, so a little extra care goes a long way in this weather! ❤️🐶

☀️🐾 Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend – and what a glorious one it’s turned out to be! 😎🌞

Just a little message ahead of this coming week, with temperatures set to rise and some particularly hot weather expected by midweek. 🥵🐶

For any customers with appointments booked, please keep your dog’s comfort and wellbeing in mind. If your dog struggles in the heat and isn’t desperate for a groom right now, and you’d prefer to rearrange your appointment, please don’t hesitate to drop me a message and we can sort something out. 😊

As always, the welfare of every dog in my care is my number one priority. ❤️🐾 During these warmer days, I’ll be using cooler water settings and cooler dryer settings wherever possible. However, as you can imagine, the air being drawn into the dryer is still going to be quite warm.

With that in mind, where suitable and provided the groom can still be completed properly, I may not fully dry some dogs before they leave. I’m sure many of them will appreciate being a little cooler! 🐕💨❄️

And finally, a cheeky little reminder for those who pay by bank transfer 💷😊 – I’d be very grateful if payments could be made promptly after your appointment. Thank you! 🙏

One of my lovely visitors over the weekend was the beautiful Honey 🐕💛, an 8-month-old Golden Retriever who came in for her very first groom. I’m delighted to say she was an absolute superstar from start to finish! 🌟✨ Such a sweet girl, and a pleasure to groom. 🛁🐾

Thank you for being so brave, Honey – we can't wait to see you again! 🥰
