Alison with her twin Lincoln Longwool boys… the first was born at 12.30am and the second just before 3am this morning..

A long wait for the second lamb but we knew from Alison’s scan that she was carrying twins..

Lots of cups of needed tea in the early hours to keep us going..! We treated ourselves to Sourdough toast and marmalade when it was all over at 4am…

We agree with ‘s recent post, farms should have weeds for insect pollination and to help biodiversity and maintain a natural food chain.

…Our laying hens have loved being amongst this creeping thistle all summer… and the bees and other pollinators have loved the flowers too.

We have lots of wild areas in our garden, perfect for lots of insects, grubs snd slugs… which means the toads and frogs have plenty of food 🐸 🐸 This large toad found under some wood is keen to get into some cool, damp shade
