A senior female dachshund cross has been found near the Welwyn end of Codicote Road.
She is wearing a collar and has a microchip, but unfortunately the chip details are not up to date.

If you know who she might belong to, please get in touch with us as soon as possible. Let’s help reunite her with her family 💕

We’ve had a young kitten handed in to us after being found near Morrisons in WGC.
• No collar or microchip
• Quite skinny, but now safe and being cared for with us 💕

‼️UPDATE- OWNER FOUND‼️

🚨 Found Cat – Woolmer Green 🚨

We’ve had an elderly, underweight black male cat brought in after being found lying in the road on Carvers Croft, Woolmer Green. Sadly, he’s in a poor condition and receiving urgent care.

He is microchipped, but we haven’t been able to reach his owners. If you recognise him or know who he might belong to, please ask them to contact us as soon as possible on 01438 712300.

The government has issued an urgent alert following the discovery of counterfeit flea treatments containing toxic chemicals. These fake products have already led to serious health issues, including one cat requiring surgery.

Dangers of Counterfeit Treatments:
• Contain fake or unregulated ingredients
• May cause vomiting, muscle tremors, or even death

Spot the Warning Signs:
• Poor quality or damaged packaging
• Spelling mistakes on labels
• Unusual chemical smells
• Missing leaflets, expiry dates, or instructions
• Heavily discounted prices

✅ Only buy flea treatments from trusted sources
✅ Always check the Veterinary Medicines Directorate (VMD) database to confirm a product is authorised in the UK
✅ Look for the VMD-accredited pharmacy logo on the homepage of online pharmacies

If you’re ever unsure, consult your vet before using any flea treatment. Your pet’s safety comes first. 🐾

After two long weeks of bandage changes, no walks, and lots of couch time… Lando is officially bandage-free! 🎉🐾

He cut his foot and needed surgery, but he’s been such a champ through it all.
Today, he celebrated his recovery by proudly showing off all his best tricks—and maybe demanding a few extra treats. 😉
