So Indy is 13 in December, she’s been everything to me, she’s been with me from my 20’s to my 40’s. She’s been a farm dog, a trick dog, a guard dog, a Mum, a Grandma and now in her very later years there’s a new arrival.
As you all know, Indy is my girl, she actually thinks she is higher in the pecking order than my 18 year old daughter who was 5 when we got her. So I’m not going to lie, I worried how Indy would take to our new arrival. I adapted the house so that with work, both dog and baby would get all the individual attention they needed separately 😂
Well I needn’t have worried... Indy is now known as Nanny dog, she adores the baby and he adores her. He smiles every time she’s in view and happily tolerates her”loving” him 😂
This is so amazing for me, as last Christmas Indy was diagnosed with cancer and I was told she probably wouldn’t see him being born... I was so upset, I don’t know why but I needed them to meet!
Well they did meet and 15 weeks later they are making memories I never thought would happen!
And Indy is in amazing health, you wouldn’t have a clue she even had cancer, we’ve taken her off all drugs and decided it has to be quality time now, not quantity!
Dalmatians are amazing 😍 but mines the best 😉
