Looking for New ๐Ÿก
IVY โ€“ Safe, Fun & Versatile 13hh Mare โœจ
Ivy is a lovely 13hh, 12-year-old cream cob X mare with a kind temperament and a great all-rounder attitude. A much-loved pony, now sadly outgrown so is ready for her next home.
Previously she has done cross country, trail hunting, show jumping (40cmโ€“1m), hacking and beach rides. In her recent home she has enjoyed regular hacking (farm & forestry, rivers and hills), weekly lessons (flatwork & jumping), arena hires and dressage competitions. She is now happy around sheep and other livestock.
Ivy is a safe, responsive ride who has given a very nervous child the confidence to be able to go from just hacking around the farm to taking part in all sorts of allround activities. Her little Jockey was originally petrified of jumping but Ivy has given her this confidence. She is not a plod or lead-rein type, but is sensible, genuine and has never bucked, reared or taken off.
๐Ÿงก Key details:
Up to date with vaccinations, teeth (2024)
Excellent with vet & farrier
Barefoot with strong hooves
Good to load, clip & handle
Can have time off and comes back into work easily
Snaffle-mouthed, never sick or sorry
Lives out or stables
๐ŸŽ’ Full wardrobe included (saddle, bridle, rugs, headcollar etc.)
Ivy is an ideal second pony for a child wanting to have fun and progress. She enjoys being kept active taking her little jockey on lots of fun safe adventures. Shes most definitely that fabulous "in-betweener" stepping stone pony, she has the ability but will cater to whoever is on her back at the time.
Ivy is a genuinely lovely pony who is safe, fun and ready to give her next rider just as much confidence as she has given her last little Jockey. PM for further details. Welsh/Shropshire border. 8.5๐Ÿฅ• to include full wardrobe.

I didnt think this day would ever come... but a huge thanks to Fred Timmis and his wonderful patience and perseverance has meant Ive finally got my first ride on "Bonnie". We have really had to take our time with her giving her a little holiday to allow her to process everything! She has been incredibly tricky to back... and one of the sharpest Fred has had! But thankfully we are now there and she is happily accepting her rider without disappearing from underneath you even testing Fred's stick ability at times ๐Ÿ™ˆ Im looking forward to continuing her education now that she's home! She is most definitely a carbon copy of her mum "Tilly". Heartbreaker x Big Star.

Most improved definitely goes to Quinn... mentally he has been the most immature of all of my bunch! Ive really taken my time with him and always kept him within his comfort zone... despite still keeping me on my toes at times Im over the moon with the development of his canter and jumping technique! We have gone from never seeming to get a clear round to getting 1st, 3rd and a 6th in his last 2 outings. Nearly ready for a Newcomers โค๏ธ

Quantez jumped a super round in the Blue Chip power qualifier to sadly have the penultimate fence after his numpty jockey was in two minds on a distance.... why oh why did I think there was another stride? Forward off the corner and we would have been fine ๐Ÿ™ˆ

Ria picking up 2nd in the 1.05 at Aintree a couple of weeks ago ๐Ÿ˜

Perla sadly had a pole in the Blue Chip Power qualifier! Poor Perla just doesn't seem to get the luck plus her jockey needs to remind herself how deceptively quick she is... this would have been good enough to win it by 2 seconds!!! Need to learn to ease up on my competitiveness a little and remind myself we are quick enough without trying so hard!

Nix at SV coming 2nd in the 1.15 behind Star followed by her 1.20 round. Shes a sensitive mare that unless everything is perfect she can easily lack confidence. Im looking forward to starting to think about stepping her up in height once again very soon ๐Ÿ™‚

Ive been a little quiet on here of late... I dont ever seem to get the time to sit down and write a post! ๐Ÿ™ˆ
So its catch up time and no better way to start than to show a double video of Star gaining back to back wins at Aintree in the Newcomers followed by a win in her first 1.15 with no warm up class at SV! She even beat Nix who came 2nd! My little bouncing tigger just loves to jump... she has not been the easiest to produce but Im proud to say we are getting there and shes stepping up with ease โค๏ธ

Correction it was Saturday not Sunday!!! Although with a flat battery at the end of the day I didnt get home until 11.30 so in my defence it was very nearly Sunday ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ

This has been the longest voluntary break Ive had away from the show scene! Usually its forced due to an injury! I have however enjoyed having a little downtime and so have the horses!

In true Ceri style I never do anything by halves... so we returned with 6 horses!

All jumped really well...

I lasted around 10 seconds with the first horse before I was on the deck... dusted myself off got back on and then continued the day!

Quinn - 6th in the British Novice
Quantez - 1st in the Discovery
Ria - 4th in the Discovery and despite my martingale breaking in 1.05 she did so well to carry on only having 1 pole.
Star - 1 down in both her classes
Perla - 1 down in the newcomers
Nix - 1st in the 1.15 ๐Ÿ“น
