⚠️ HUGE ANNOUNCEMENT ⚠️

Hi everyone! As you can see, I am looking at opening my own rescue centre!!
This is a massive project but I have been planning and researching for a year and a half and I think it's time to finally start pushing to make this real.

The first thing I need to work on is land. I need a place to start setting up. I've tried to get financial support for the last 17 months and got no luck... So I'm turning to the local community for help. Does anyone have/know of anyone who has land they don't use or old farm buildings/stables that I could renovate into the beginning of Harley Hound's!?

⚠️ Help Needed ⚠️

Hey everyone! As you know we are all having a hard time with the heat waves and my family has completely run out of water! 🤦🏻‍♀️ Our well ran dry a couple weeks back and with the next heat wave coming up, we are a little worried about our water situation 🥺
Does anyone have some old IBC units they no longer need? We plan to hook them up to catch rain and use it to funnel shop bought water to the house systems (like taps, toilets etc)
We are happy to pay for them, but if anyone knows of anyone who has some or anyone who has some themselves, please let us know 💙

we have found some IBC units!! Thanks to the help of an incredibly kind local, we can now start getting some more water! Thank you so much to everyone who reached out and helped me during this difficult time ☺️

On June 17th, Squidge The Pidge was finally ready to take on the world! 🥹

He stayed with us for a full 40 days as he recovered from a broken leg, mangled tail, missing wing feathers, cuts across his chest, crows trying to peck his eyes, a pr*****ed cloaca, and being too young to feed himself. All his injuries healed up beautifully after having a splint on for a week, having his wounds cleaned and wiped with iodine, and being hand fed and being given water twice a day until he could do it himself 💪🏻

With very little help from me, he taught himself to fly and was ready to be on his way! We released him away from the house but close enough that he could get back to us if he needed it. That's why I put the rings on him, so if he ever comes back, we'll know it's him 🥹 it's been over a month and we haven't seen him so I hope he's found a new group of friends and is living his best life with his very own family! 🥰✨

(If you noticed the little cut on his forehead, he tried to fly out of the aviary he was in and bumped his head 🤦🏻‍♀️ So we let him go that same day to stop him from hurting himself more. He was checked before being released just in case the wound was bad, but it was only a little scratch so he was fine to go 😊)
