Last outing for our team for 2025 was Newbury Show, judged by Jim Barber. NewPole Saracen bowed out with Reserve Breed Champion. He’s had an excellent season with several Breed Championships to his credit and we are extremely proud of him.

The Juniors also did themselves proud, NewPole Urma winning several 2024 heifer classes against strong competition and Reserve Breed Champion at Mid Somerset. NewPole Ulysses also had several wins in Junior bull classes and we’re looking forward to seeing how he matures over the winter.

Busy few days for NewPole, starting with a blazing hot Dunster Show on Friday, where NewPole Saracen continued his winning ways taking Breed Champion and Reserve Interbreed.

Then it was Mid Somerset today, another hot one, and and plenty of winning rosettes with Saracen again taking Breed Champion and our yearling heifer, NewPole Urma, won a strong junior heifer class and took Reserve Breed Champion.

Super proud of our show team, which both days included the regulation grey dog in the shape of Wooster White who thoroughly enjoys a day’s showing. Mainly because of all the extra food and attention he gets !
