⚠️ Avian Influenza update ⚠️

There has been confirmed positive cases of bird flu in Milton Keynes’ parks. Please help us to avoid the spread by following this advice:

👉 Keep to foothpaths, with dogs on leads in areas with wildfowl
👉 Do not feed the waterfowl - this encourages the birds to gather, increasing the risk of the virus spreading
👉 Do not pick up or touch dead or sick wild birds
👉 Do not touch feathers or surfaces where there are bird droppings
👉 If you keep poultry or other birds, wash your hands, and disinfect your footwear before tending your birds.

Please report any sightings of dead birds in our parks to us, on [email protected] or 01908 233600 and we will arrange removal and contact the relevant agencies.

We are monitoring the situation carefully and are following the latest Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra) guidance.

Hello everyone! Sorry for the quietness on here recently, I've had some health issues but am well on my way back to full health ⚕️🎉🤞

Check out these beautiful girls I had the utmost pleasure of taking care of recently! 🐈😻

I am so privileged to have owners trust me to take good care of their furry, feathery and scaly babies while they are away, so I always make sure I send regular updates and photos. After all, if you know they are safe and happy you can concentrate on having a good time or conducting the business you have to do!

These girls had a great time playing with their multitude of toys! My pop in visits include playtime and enrichment if they are so inclined, as of course activity and company are vital for any animals well-being.

Meet the King of the Kitchen Tiles…

This handsome chap is one of my regular clients, and let me tell you—he rules the roost (and the sunny spots!) like royalty!

While his humans are away, I’ve had the absolute pleasure of popping in for fusses, chats (he's got opinions), and plenty of pampering. With his fluffy paws and serious expressions, you’d think he’s running a board meeting—but really, he’s just supervising me while I dish out dinner!

🥞🐾 Pancakes & Paws – A Flipping Good Time! 🐶🐱

It’s Pancake Day—which means one thing: trying (and usually failing) to master the perfect pancake flip! 🙃 But did you know that right here in Olney, we have one of the most famous Pancake Races in the world? Since 1445, locals have been dashing through the streets flipping pancakes—now that’s dedication!

But let’s talk about our furry friends… because while we’re enjoying our pancakes, those puppy-dog eyes will be watching EVERY bite. 👀🐾

💡 Can dogs have pancakes? Yes—but keep them simple! Here’s a pet-friendly pancake recipe so your fur babies don’t feel left out:
🥞 1 mashed banana
🥚 1 egg
🌾 A little flour
🥄 Mix, cook in a pan, and let cool before serving!

For anyone who walks their dog in Olney, please be vigilant up at the barnfield (by Ousedale school) as there has been a case of a dog ingesting something toxic there recently. It is unknown whether it was a naturally occurring poison or not so please be aware and phone your vet immediately if you are concerned that your pet has been exposed to something toxic. Stay safe everyone!

😍🐾😍 Not exactly a Sunday Snuggles post, rather a Stubborn 'I-want-to-come-in-and-say-hello' Sunday post featuring the gorgeous Aurelia!!! 😍🐾😍

This beautiful young lady was meant to be walking past our Olney branch but point-blank refused to budge when she got to our front door until she was allowed in to say hello and cadge a few treats 😆😆😆 As if we were going to be able to resist that face, especially with her sitting and waiting so politely on the door mat...!
