This was the first visit for Mable at Glenvale Pet Grooms Salon. Mable was little shy but amazingly good and patient. She has a lovely dark hairs featuring her beautifull eye but the camera could not capture the whole beauty of it; Spring make over for this goirgeous girl, and booked her Summer pamper session - see you soon lovely girl ❤️🐾

This gourgeous kitty Miah visited me for a bath and de-shed. Although the rumour is that cats dont like being groomed/bathed - Miah was happy to get the old hair off and enjoyed being bathed ; She was purring and giving me the face-rubs all the way through. It is important to brush regularly your cat’s coat as this will removed any excess hair which if not done, will end up as hairballs in cat’s stomach. See you soon lovely Miah 😻

Lovely Riley was also in for Spring De-shed session today; Treated with high quality luxury shampoo and then manually de-shedded. (Forgot to take a picture of the little pile of shedded hairs 😒. Riley was the most gentle and sweet boy and he loved being pampered. Hope you visit Wellingborough soon so that I can see you again Riley ❤️🐾

Frank the pug was in for a Spring Treat; Is ‘t he the sweetest boy 🐾❤️He had a nice bath with a Luxury Deshedding Shampoo and then a manual de-shed … look at this pile of shedded hair next to him, there were two more little piles of shedded hair in the bath and on the floor. Its kind to bring your pup for a deshedding Spring treat to help them feel lighter and it helps with blood circulation. See you soon Frankie x

Today my lovely pooch Arra was out for a walk with B&G Doggy Daycare & Dog Walking and came back buzzing happy. Logically, I groomed her after she came back 😂😊 cant help myself and now ‘Sleepy head’ is woofing and kicking in her dream perhaps re-living the experience;

My star girl Ameliya had a a bath and a de-shed session; The two handfulls of shedded hair right next to her on the table, plus as much as this shedded in the bathtub. If you have a shorthaired dog and you think its not worth going to the groomers - think again ! Frull grooming for shorthaired breeds dont need to be as often but is still very beneficial for dog’s health and socialising too . Call to enquire about whats included and a quote on 01933 588 021

Puppy Lilo had her First Groom today and she was absolutely Pawsome 🐾❤️ See you soon sweety 🐣 It is hard work for a puppy to stay awake all the way theough out the groom so we had som relaxing music on and Lilo had a cute baby nap ;

Dog grooming is so much more than just a job – it’s an art form, requiring years of training, skill, and unwavering dedication. Every pet groomer puts in countless hours learning the techniques, safety practices, and handling skills needed to care for our furry friends with the utmost care and professionalism. Unfortunately, many people still don’t understand the level of expertise it takes to be a good groomer, and that’s why they often undervalue the work being done.

Just like any other profession – whether it’s hairdressers, mechanics, or dentists – groomers deserve to be paid fairly for the hard work they put in.
It’s time to change the narrative. It takes real passion and commitment to keep our dogs looking and feeling their best, and it’s crucial that we, as a community, start recognising and respecting the value of this profession.

So let’s spread the word – groomers work tirelessly to ensure our pets are happy and healthy. They deserve to be compensated fairly for the incredible service they provide. Let’s show some appreciation and make sure groomers get the respect and pay they truly deserve. 🐕💖
