The importance of Caring for dogs Dewclaws 🐾
Regular trimming:
Trim the dewclaw nail regularly to keep it at a safe length and prevent it from becoming snagged or ingrown.

Another very successful groom and teeth clean on this little lady. She is a regular for grooming but a newbie to teeth cleaning 🦷 she was an absolute superstar! A credit to her mum 🥰

A big well done to Archie today 👏🏻
He absolutely smashed his first ever groom!!

Archie came for a meet and greet puppy session last Friday, today he came for his little bath and tidy up!

He had his first bath in the big bath with no problems!
He wasn’t phased in the slightest by the noisy dryer!He was brushed through (No knots at all👌)
He had his paws and face tidied up with the scissors!
He had his nails clipped.

He had a really pawsitive experience 🥰

Bringing puppies in as soon as they are vaccinated and building their confidence slowly and positively is key to successful grooms as they grow 👍

Well done to Archie and of course his family, who have given him the confidence and building blocks to rely on when he’s in new and unfamiliar situations. You are all doing a great job 💖🐾🐕‍🦺

Before and after photos of todays teeth clean!
Are you struggling to see much of a difference 🤔 GOOD!!! That’s exactly how it should be!! Follow up teeth cleans are in place as a MAINTENANCE clean, there should be minimal plaque build up. It should take around 20 minutes to inspect and clean the teeth with the ultrasonic toothbrush. Any plaque that has started to build up will be cleaned off, the teeth and mouth should be clean and healthy.

This dog comes religiously every 8 weeks. She is picked up, she has a bath, full groom, her nails clipped, her teeth cleaned and then she’s dropped back home again! She is in beautiful condition, her coat is glossy and shines and so do her teeth! She is exceptionally well looked after 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Emmipet ultrasonic teeth cleaning -
First session includes the dogs own toothbrush head, a tube of Oryzyme oral hygiene gel and the first teeth clean £40
Follow up, MAINTENANCE cleans are advised at least 8-12 weeks apart once the teeth are clean £20

From 60kg Newfoundland cross breeds to tiny 2kg chihuahuas and everything in between! Dip’N’Clip dog grooming caters for all breeds, shapes and sizes! We have a fully electric stainless steel bath and an electric grooming table. Both go down low enough for the largest dogs to step on and off or in and out!
