After a few lovely dry days, the horses are finally back out enjoying some fresh air, stretching their legs and having a good roll!

Rebuilding confidence.
At the end of the Summer our eldest daughter completely lost her confidence with riding. Thank you to Jayne Smith for the lesson today and helping to bring that smile back! Also huge thanks to Charleigh Britton for letting us borrow Jester!

A fantastic shed full of straw and still plenty of grazing in October.

It’s been a difficult year with weather but it’s now a great feeling to have, going into the winter!!

🎉 Happy 1 Year Anniversary to Us! 🎉

One year ago today, we took on Teal Farm Stables – and what a year it’s been!

We figured it’s about time we properly introduced ourselves...

👨‍🌾 Ben (also known as Bernard!) worked on his family’s farm before going self-employed. These days, when he’s not out doing his outside work, you’ll find him working hard on the yard – rain or shine!

👩‍👧‍👦 Stacey comes from a travel background, so this whole venture was a brand-new world for her. She’s mostly found indoors with the kids, but is famous among the liveries for her top-notch bacon and sausage sandwiches on a Sunday morning!

We’re also proud parents to 3 amazing kids: Lily (9), Holly (6), and Thomas (2). Lily’s often spotted around the yard getting stuck in and lending a hand 💪

We want to say a HUGE thank you to everyone who has supported us through our first year. We’ve loved every minute of it 💚

We are lucky enough to have our hay in the barn ready for winter. The fields have been mowed. Now we need some sunshine after this rain to let the fields grow again ☀️

A few weeks ago, some of the Teal Farm crew (plus the bosses!) swapped the mucking out duties for a First Aid course at Wedmore Golf Club. Massive thanks to Shane and Sorrel from Reflex First Aid Training Ltd for keeping us entertained and educated. Having more first aiders around the yard is never a bad idea.

Please admire how pleased Ben Bernard Hole looks at being the “volunteer” during the demos - never has someone looked so thrilled to be bandaged, rolled into the recovery position and used as the example for everything. What a sport!! 😂
