A very lovely black male cocker spaniel around 4 years old was brought into us this evening. He is microchipped but unfortunately the details haven’t been kept up to date. He was found on ports down Hill.

🐾💚 It’s Veterinary Nurse Awareness Month! 💚🐾

This month, we’re celebrating the incredible veterinary nurses who keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes (and often in front of them too!).

From cuddling nervous pets and holding paws during procedures, to monitoring anaesthetics, running lab tests, giving medications, assisting in surgery, and answering all your worried phone calls — they truly do it all.

They are the calm voices, the gentle hands, the snack providers, the clean-up crew, the patient advocates, and the friendly faces that both you and your pets trust every day.

Whether it’s a wagging tail, a nervous purr, or a not-so-happy hiss… our nurses are there with kindness, skill, and endless compassion.

So this month, we say a big THANK YOU to our amazing team 💚We simply couldn’t do it without you.
