Andis ZR’s are not a favourite here but when we’re asked to help, we do!
ZR’s really do get packed with fur, this affects switches, motors and I’ve even known one catch fire as a result of a fault that ignited the packed fur 🔥

The Heiniger Opal has a tendency to ‘suck in’ fur, strangely something not common with the Saphir, however it’s important to get these cleaned out and fur free as it can affect the switch, motor and cause heat build up in extreme cases.

Yes, you can always get your clippers serviced cheaper, there are always people willing to undercut the market, use cheap parts, do half a job, use the incorrect lubricants, make a quick few quid and disappear, but if you want them done professionally, reliably, guaranteed and using OEM parts and Lubricants please send them in to us as the leading Independent Heiniger Servicing Specialists in the UK. Using random grease, odd parts only risks burnt out motors, destroyed bearings and costs far more in the long run.

Reported as freshly sharpened blades not working, 2 sets of clippers serviced elsewhere less than two months ago….
On inspection both sets of Heiniger Saphir sounded awful and on opening both had almost completely collapsed gear bearings 🙄, so that will be why they weren’t clipping…..
Both gears and bearings replaced, new blade levers fitted, relubricated with Heiniger White Lithium grease and Hey Presto, it’s magic 🪄 All the blades work and clippers sound perfect 👌
So when you see servicing at £30.00 or so just remember that all clipper servicing isn’t necessarily the same or as thorough or as experienced. 🥴🤷‍♂️

We think the word best describing it is Meticulously!
Full strip down of your existing clipper, saving only the PCB (Circuit Board) and casing.
The original Heiniger case receives a thorough power wash degrease and clean to remove all traces of dirt and grease, including the integral switch which tends to trap fur underneath.
All electrical contacts are cleaned and inspected/tested with specialist cleaner, before a total rebuild with brand new parts.
