My story is much like the previous owner Mel’s in that I’ve been a customer for about 15 years now, firstly when Stuart was owner and then some 9 years ago when Mel took the reins. She has been a fountain of knowledge to me as a customer and also during the handover as she shared all her insights. (Don’t worry she didn’t tell me absolutely everything about each and everyone of hear customers!!)

m so excited to take up the next part of the AK journey and hope I can prove to be as friendly and (in time!) knowledgable as those before me. There are some exciting plans ahead, but please bear with me before you see any changes - will be finding my feet for a few weeks first! Stay tuned to updates but in the meantime I hope you can all continue to support this much needed local pet supplies business.

So guys, you all know we love seeing you and your dogs but please leave them at home over the next few days, the shop is boiling and very stuffy, they are much safer at home where they can stay cool 🙏

We have lots of tasty treats to keep them occupied & have more ice creams /frozen yoghurts coming in Thursday, Frozen marrowbones will be fully stocked again tomorrow 🐶
